If Spike gets any quieter he would be Angel. Oh, wait - Angel talks more. Dawn asked me what this means for the future of Spuffy. I think if he keeps his mouth shut she will be in love with him in about 2 episodes. I also think that if he had just shut the hell up for the bulk of season 6 she probably would have fallen for him then. Buffy is a sucker for the silent, mysterious types. I had one of those once. As it turns out he was just really stupid and truly had nothing to say. Live and learn I suppose.

So did Buffy have sex with that guy? After last year I don't think she is the type to just take it all slow. Especially under a spell. And she called him her lover. I vote yes, she did have sex with him. This could cause a number of problems - namely, he is still a student. Of course at my old high school, if he was a female athlete and Buffy was the coach that would be expected. It is very, very sad but I know of no less than 3 coaches (male) that had affairs with student-athletes. This was in four years and I wasn't privy to any private information - these were the incidents that everyone knew about. Oh - and Dawn says, "Fuck you Joey Downs!" She is still bitter that the money for her team's CD player for the locker room went to pay for the Co-Captain's abortion. I guess her old coach thinks he is all redeemed since he married the point-guard (same team, different girl).

I liked Dawn in love (Buffy's sis - not mine - although I like her, too - just not the point I'm trying to make) - the more irrational she became about RJ the more I recognized Cappy in her. I don't mean Cappy is crazy, gonna lay down on the railroad tracks (right, Cappy? - just don't - kay?) but the initial way she fell sooo hard...it was almost painful. Good thing they made her so goofy because I don't buy for a minute that MT is not drop dead gorgeous and would totally be sought out at that school. Buffy cracked me up criticizing Dawn's clothing. Buffy wore less then that to study hall for 3 years straight.

I am so happy. Xander and Spike are together again. I want more bonding. Hee.

Also - Willow. I am in love with you again.

All is well with me tonight. I think I'm gonna pull some more clips and work on the bridge to Closer. I start test-driving soon.

And I did. I think I remember reading it last year and enjoying it then - but it means more now. Y'know I love the crap that Spike says, it is very entertaining, but I had to keep yelling at him to shut up last year ("The only thing better than killing a slayer is..." , etc.) Nice to know that my television appears to be interactive and he heard. I do miss the snarky comments, but compared to Angel's evolution Spike seems to be on the accelerated redemption program. I'm sure we will have maybe an episode where he is complicit with evil (ala Are You Now...) and then on to being the hero of the universe (and certain painful, albeit beautifully filmed, death). Of course I am unspoiled and could be wrong.

I've got to try to capture Fool For Love - my copy looks like shit in Premiere - and get one more episode of Angel. There is now a firm narrative (well - to me at least. Typically I need a beta to tell me if the narrative is actually coming across) and at least a light and a tunnel.

Oh, you are so beta-ing this project. Actually, I don't think Dawn is ever gonna let me put up another vid without your input - there is that much of a difference in the final product. Already we disagree about something I've done early on...Dawn says we will just wait and see what Lum says...hee.

Well... when Xander walked in Buffy was sitting on RJ's chest (not crotch, I paused to make sure), and his pants were still up.

So I'm thinking they didn't... but they were definitely going there. And I didn't even pay attention to the 'My lover' line. It was Buffy trying to upset Spell!Dawn (who wants Spell!Buffy's man)... Anya called him "my boyfriend" two seconds after meeting him-- and never having touched him.

That's just my thoughts on it.

You make a very good point. I only watched the episode once last night (Dawn missed Sunday's Angel) - and true as well about Spell!Buffy wanting to upset Dawn. So now I change my vote - I vote, no - she did not have sex with RJ. I'm very easily swayed and influenced as a rule. I would like to add that if it were season 6 Buffy she would already have her skirt hiked up and Spike would be giving it to her against the wall by the time Xander showed up. This is why I ::heart:: Season 6 Buffy.

please get a new car...I worry about you....I posted on Dawn's LJ...it was for both of you...go read it....I love you and miss you all...loved your Halloween costume...and Sid's was so good...nobody would guess that he was really a little white poodle.....Dad wants to know who Robin is...He missed you all on Halloween....He went around the house all night saying,"Well, I don't have anyone to take trick or treating this year." I don't think he remembers that he hasn't taken anyone for a few years now....just hit him that there are no more younger ones....hugs and kisses to my grandson....love to all....mom

I'm looking for a new car now - but I promise to call before I buy anything. I'm sorry Dad misses Trick or Treating, but I haven't gone for 15 years now, so it seems strange he is just now catching on. Are you sure he has not had a stroke? Ask him to say the alphabet backwards - or tell you how to get to Mud Dobbs' house. If he can do either he is probably fine.
