Before I talk about Last Night's Episode, I have to say: Ladies and Gentleman - My Baby Sister
caphricacorn
I stick with Luthor II's Supergirl shapeshifter. She looooves Lex and he acts like he loves her (and it reminds me of Spike and Harmony) and he's all convinced her not to go to Engine City because Metropolis needs her and then she has angst because Superman died and she didn't do anything to help him fight off Doomsday. So then she starts hanging around Superboy and Superboy falls in love with Supergirl and it's all awww but it's really not because Luthor is Superboy's daddy so Supergirl is kinda like the blond ho his not-daddy is sleeping with. Which is really soap-operaish but it happened. And then yeah, Supergirl hits on Lois as Clark.
I am so proud.
::wipes away single, perfect tear::
Last night many things happened. I watched the episode with The Boy and he kept it real. Well - at least the football parts. You see, he is now playing Freshman Football and thus qualifies as an expert. Well - he thinks he is an expert in all things now, but that is called just being fifteen. Bless his heart - the following exchange took place the first time I picked him up from practice over the summer:
The Boy: Sissy? (Yes, he still calls me Sissy and the first one of you to make fun of him for that and cause him to stop doing it, I will beat to death with
heres_luck's Farscape Spoiler-Shovel. Just so we are clear).
Me: [driving]Mmmm?
The Boy: Where are the cheerleaders?
Me: What do you mean? Where are they practicing?
The Boy: Yeah - where are they at?
Me: Well - I guess they practice in the morning, or in the gym (this was in the middle of summer) or they could be at camp...
The Boy: So they don't practice on the football field?
Me: Well - not usually - I always remember our team being in the gym and auditorium during practice.
The Boy: [bitterly] Every TV show and movie I have ever seen has lied to me.
So now his mission in life is to let me know the difference between what Really Happens and What Never Happens and he is starting with Smallville.
So on with the Ep!
( And On the Third Day, The Lord Spaketh and Said Let There Be Nekkidity. And there was. And it was Good. )
