Jan. 22nd, 2003 07:48 pmSo I'm at work today and my sinuses are really bothering me - so I ask the lady in the cubicle behind me (a walking drug-store)for some Sudafed. Sudafed is the best drug in the world and normally I carry my own at all times, but not today. She gives me two little pills which I take and I continue to work and about 45 minutes later it hits me: WTF was in that?
Turns out it was Sinus and Allery - sudafed and an antihistamine. There are very few antihistamines I can tolerate and apparently Chlorpheniramine maleate is not one of them. At least it wasn't Benadryl. If that were the case then I would now be unconcious. As it is, I feel so freaking out of it that functioning is low on the list of priorities. Hell, I'm still at work. Hee. I may be high. On nonprescription allergy medication. I am such the wild woman.
Silver Lining: I can really breath right now and I feel excellently numb. Also - no appetite, so I don't have to figure out what to eat for dinner. Go me!
I should go home now. There is no one else here. Hmmm...it's a plan.
