I want to stop sneezing long enough to thank everyone who participated, bidded, linked, pimped, discussed and otherwise helped support the first Auction to benefit Vividcon. I had a blast - I can't wait until the con (well actually, I can wait cause I have like 4 vids to make between now and then) - you guys are great. Today started off fairly crappy. I overslept and as I was rushing to dry my hair I got a nosebleed. This is gross and normally I wouldn't post about fluids leaking from my body (much) but this actually improved my mood. I pretended I was late season 4 Scully and I practiced walking around my apartment with a long-suffering air, and aimed silent accusatory looks at the dog. It was brilliant. I just hope, by the time I get home tonight, that Sidwickian the Magnificent has not paid some schmoo to drill holes into his skull...One Mulder is enough.
Dude, can you imagine a animated series where Mulder is a dog? Oh! Or make if live-action like "Wishbone" - I love Wishbone. I think Mulder should be played by a Lab mix - maybe mixed with Catahoula Hound? Scully is obviously a loyal and wise Golden Retriever. Skinner is a German Shephard and Dogget is some sort of bird dog. Marita can be a cat. OH - Krycek as a dog...if Krycek was a dog, what kind of dog would he be? ..fuck dogs, he'd be a panther. Pretending to be a dog. Like in that one Looney Tunes cartoon where the wolf and the sheep-dog clock into work every day? And at the end of one short they keep unzipping disguises? That would be Krycek. He'd be a panther disguised a cute widdle puppy - a Beagle! Like Shiloh! Oh that evil, evil bastard! But he is oh so cute and cuddley. Damn - and the audience will not be expecting it, either. They'll all be in love with the sweet ittle Shiloh-ish dog and then WHAM! Out of the blue, they pull a fast one and he is EVAL! I can hear the gasps from here.
Maybe I should cut back on the antihistamines?
ETA: OH, OH, OH - The Alien Bounty Hunter is a Rottweiler

Spender would be one of those hairless dogs with perpetual asthma and bulging eyeballs and a neck too little for it's head. Skinner is a bulldog. A sweet bulldog. Totally agreeing that Scully is a golden retriever. I think Mulder might be Tramp, from "Lady and the Tramp" - but with less carefree pluck. Mulder's pluck is full of angst.
Remember Agent Pendrell? God, he would be the saddest dog ever. So sad you can't help but want to hug him...and hope he does't pee on you because he's over excited.
