So I went to bed with heartburn last night because I just am unable to stop myself from eating gyros. I reach the point of fullness and still I continue eating. I am powerless over the salted, spiced gyro meat product. Mmmmm, pita.

I had the strangest dream. I dreamed I had no job and following a cryptic post-it note sent to me by [livejournal.com profile] renenet I went to an interview that actually turned out to be the registration table at Vividcon. I was seated at table A and when I looked over I saw that [livejournal.com profile] heres_luck was seated next a woman I did not recognize and was apparently in disguise and wearing thick glasses. I waved and she rolled her eyes at me and then I figured out she was undercover and that is when the man sat down to interview me for a job that involved using computers to teach inner-city children about sharing. The man was both Jimmy James from "News Radio" and Milton from "Office Space" at the same time as apparently, mass can occupy the same space as other mass in my dreams.

In my dreams, I scoff at Newton. Sir Isaac, my ass!

::gives Newton a noogie::

Anyway, the interview ended and I kept looking over a h.l to see how I was doing and I really think I was gonna blow her cover because the lady beside her started to get suspicious. Then Jimmy/Milton asked me if I was ready for my presentation and I said yes because that is when I noticed the room was filled with desks. I had no idea what I was gonna do, so I walked to the front of the classroom that the registration area had morphed into and I realized I had my presentation in my hands - except I suddenly could not focus and I remembered that I had my eyes dilated before I came to the interview. So, since I felt like Willow in "Restless" and I had to wing a presentation - I decided to make it about Willow in "Restless" and I gave the title of my speech and it was really good. I can't remember what it was now - only that it impressed me - I was all - "whoa, I came up with that? I am so wicked smart."

I can't remember exactly what I said, but I do know the presentation required that I use at least three funny voices and at one point I realized that I had no idea what I was saying because I was wrapping up my conclusions in Spanish.

Then, I was seated at a desk and [livejournal.com profile] tzikeh IMed me on my coconut purse. She was making an "Invisible Man" vid to Bette Midler's "From A Distance" and wanted me to take a look.

I decided to reserve judgement on her song choice until I saw where she was going with the vid - although I had severe issues with using Bette Midler of any kind - and I was glad I did because her vid was freaking brilliant. It was inspired and she used these long cuts and camera pans down hallways and it worked so beautifully. I did get bit angry, because it turned out that there was a third season of I-Man that only she had access to and she used an episode that never aired that featured Darien in a wheelchair. It was FDR's wheelchair and apparently - from what I could gather in the video - Bobby was pushing the wheelchair and they were going to some kind of gathering in the Official's back yard. His back yard was also the Rose Garden from "The West Wing" and it was at this point that Leo took over the vid, but it really worked.

Then I guess I woke up. I wish I remembered the title of my presentation, but I totally remember tzikeh's "From A Distance" vid. It really was a good vid.

...wow. One day, if I ever make a vid that good, I suspect it will not be an I-Man / West Wing crossover to a Bette Midler song.

But then, you never know.

And the third season of I-Man that only I have access to?

MWAH-HAH-HAH. You only *think* you're dreaming. I guess you'll have to come visit again to find out for certain.

I wish (and I wish this every day, but today more than others) that I could show you what I saw in my head. It made me tear up. And it should not have worked at all - and you used these long cuts and hallways and it totally did. And then Leo showed them all how life was a song of hope and a song of peace and before I saw your dream-vid, I used to make fun of that, but Leo made me see it and I damned my cynical eyes for doubting. Also - at one point, and since I missed the episode you were vidding from, this is just what I could gather from your vid, but at one point it appears that Leo actually heals Darien.

It was beautiful. It made me like that song.

If she's not dreaming, you've going to end up with house guests from all over the country. :->

God, Darien in a wheelchair. Just thinking about the angst involved is going to make me completely unable to concentrate at work today. Guh!

Yes, good tactics. Say nothing. Wink, wink, nod, nod.

Can't wait to see it at the Premiere Show!

yes you are! and also that made me giggle, I don't know why, maybe its just something I would think, too.

And at least it wasn't "Wind Beneath My Wings"...

Well, knowing the randomness that is my synapses firing while I dream - it is probably "Wind Beneath My Wings"s fault that I dreamed "From a Distance" since there is a West Wing vid to WBMW. Also, we see The Official tending roses in a season one I-Man ep - so maybe that is the connection - well, that and tzikeh has pimped me to both. But if it was just that, then Jim and Artie from The Wild Wild West would have shown up.

I'm going to the Museum today and also - while there - I am pretending to be a superhero. This is actually no different than any other day - except now I know it looks like the Hall of Justice and I'm especially excited.

You definitely need to go to that bar in Mt. Adams we all went to way back when. And take [livejournal.com profile] caphricacorn, because they'll serve anybody.

It's sad. I was there for multiple years and never felt the urge to really explore it. The way I figure it, if you've seen the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, and its remarkable resemblance to the Hall of Justice, what else is there?
