But you don't get any of the Brian pain with Epic, which I now realize is the vid's great failure. Well, that and the narrative collapses after the bridge.

But no, that's not the vid's great failure. If you showed Brian's pain, the vid would be about Brian. Epic is about Justin, not Brian. Battleflag is about Brian's pain... Blue Room in Archway is about Brian's pain.

And I also think your narrative is fine. At the end, Justin finally *does* something about the injustice. It's magnificent.

Dawn said when we made "Whiskey for My Men" that is was a shame the show's creators did not name Justin "Justice" -- she said that then there could be great lines season one when Jenn is all in denial and asking Dapne where Justin is "There is no Justice on Liberty Avenue!"

She said it would then be ironic about Chris Hobbs - "Justice can't get justice!" - I think it would be ironice like flies in your lemonade, but that's just me. Oh - and at the end of season two - "Brian can't live with Justice," or "Brian can't handle Justice."

I think I've seen that fic... but I still haven't gotten to the Justin POV of the tumor fic, because I've been craving more joy than pain in my fic lately, so I bookmarked the blindness fic for later.

I've had no time lately.. I mean *no* time, as in, in order to make the icons I made last night, I had to both 1) not do all of my homework and 2) sleep for only 3 hours. I did clip some more, but only from 2x19 because I had a desperate need to rotate the end of The Hottest Scene Ever 90 degrees. Also, I got distracted the other night by another vid idea, which I worked on for 3 hours. (It's a big joke that I'll post if I ever finish it.)

I should have some time this weekend... hopefully. I'm still watching the VIP obsessively, so that's a good sign I'll want to work on it.
