Home to Walk the Dog and Say...
Aug. 19th, 2003 11:16 amSlash is trendy now??
Whoa.
Lookit me all trendy. Should I wear a hat, too? Are hats still in? I have no idea.
Maybe it's not so trendy as just becoming more accepted and open? More women acknowledging and discovering that men can be hot together. And slash can be fun. Subtext is a good thing, but the text in the subtext can blow your mind. Also the hot. Always the hot. Spinning into infinity.
I'd write more, but today is of the really busy and I really just want to think about Vividcon, pretend I am still at Vividcon and consider how lucky we are that the Earth did not really explode.
I also want to consider the extreme hotness of "The Invisible Man" and Seah and Margie's vid "Kryptonite" and how I am now finding a character extremely attractive based not on his physical attributes but what they showed me about him in that video. Plus there was pureandtruelove. That is always attractive. And he is Speed Racer. I wish I knew his name. How did I miss this show?
Oh - and someone posted on vidder's that there is going to be a second season of "Miracles" - I thought it was gone, is this true? Because if it is anything at all like Jo and Gwyneth's "Darkness, Darkness" I am so there. There with popcorn.
This weekend was also the first time I ever found Stargate's Jack really intriguing ("Come As You Are") -of course it was pointed out to me that Jack is being tortured through-out that vid, so what this says about me and my issues is at best enlightening, but most likely deep-seated and wrong. But to this I must say that obviously the torture put me in the good-place, but it was the hockey stick to the car door that sealed it for me. Damn, Jack is hot.
Con report after work if work ever ends. Oh and if I don't fall asleep first. And the Earth doesn't explode.
