So. Yeah. Keeping this vid a secret from greensilver has been interesting.

Let's get down to the vid itself and then I'll explain myself.

Soooo, You're Beautiful is a wonderful tale about a nun-in-training who runs away from her convent to join a boy band. It is available hulu+ and netflix streaming and many other various streaming websites. You should all watch it. Seriously. Not just because it will make greensilver happy but because it will bring you joy.

Greensilver totally suspected me for this vid which was fine. I knew she was as the only reason I even watched You're Beautiful is because she put the dvds on when I was in the living room and yeah, it only took one episode. Awwwww. Seriously. AW THIS SHOW!

Anyways, so back in October, I knew she was asking for this fandom for festivid. So, that is when I started working on Coeur D'aline. Once, I had a draft, I showed it around to a few people, attempting to recruit more people into the fandom, thereby potentially creating more vids for greensilver to receive on festivids morning and also? More cover for my vid, because as we have already established, she was totally gonna suspect me.

Except, it turned out, the only person I successfully recruited who was also willing to vid? Cappy, my sister. So, yeah - when Greensilver is ready for them, I have chat logs of Cappy's first impressions watching You're Beautiful. They go something like this:

Texts:
Cappy: I just got to the end of episode 11 and I yelled "YES!" so loudly that Tiny Kitten fell off the couch arm.

Cappy: All Mi Nam does is get drunk, cry, and try to move out.
sisabet: Sounds like you.

Later, when I needed to get greensilver's DVDs (which were inconveniently IN HER ROOM) without her knowledge, Cappy tried to help me figure out a way to do this:

Cappy: O I KNOW!!! Stage a BURGLARY!!!
sisabet: Ooookay, Annie.
Cappy: It can't be that hard to get the DVDs out. I used to take shit from your room all the time and not get caught.

eventually the texts sort of...devolved? Like Cappy starts talking about chloroform. She has obviously watched WAY too much Community.

Cappy: Do you think you could Nyquil her Coke Zero?
sisabet: I don't even...hey, did u ever drug me?
Cappy: I never needed to drug you. You sleep really soundly and even when awake are pretty oblivious to your surroundings. Your best bet is fake burglary.

(I eventually obtained dvd source, no fake burglary or drugging needed).

Finally, here comes the biggest confession of all:

We originally planned for Cappy to not tell greensilver she had watched You're Beautiful so that when there were two vids, made by different people (shut up, my style is completely different from Cappy's!) she would have trouble figuring out where at least one of the vids came from.

Except, then Cappy fell down the rabbit hole that is kdrama and fell hard. I consulted with sweetestdrain and she agreed that while a case could be made for not letting greensilver in on the watching of You're Beautiful, keeping Coffee Prince reactions quiet as well was Not Being A Good Friend. So we acted as if Coffee Prince was Cappy's first kdrama and what sparked her obsessively watching Boys Over Flowers and City Hunter and Big and pretty much everything else, ever. But it wasn't. It was "You're Beautiful."

Also? The kdrama that I showed to my uncle's kids at Thanksgiving that they fell in love with? Not "Boys Over Flowers." Nope - You're Beautiful. They loved it. Also? My father loved it. It was kinda weird.

And now I get random texts like this from my sister:

Cappy: The saddest piggyback ride is carrying your dying mother to the hospital.

I'm not sure if I ever left a comment on this...I think I've been avoiding leaving a comment for this vid, because once I do I will have to go ahead and watch this and I can't do that Sisabet, I HAVE A BABY. But man... <3 <3. It is everything adorable.
