sisabet*Original typoed title was:"I am a Sugar-Genius" -- possibly I should have kept it that way? It would explain A LOT of my eating habits this week.
So, grades are in and I got A's! On my unofficial transcript status thingy it says I am in Good Standing. Twice. Whereas on my undergrad unofficial transcripts it says "In Good Standing" on one line and then on the other "Dean's List" and this is the point in my story where I discover that there is no Dean's List in graduate school and I feel I have made a terrible mistake.
I NEED OUTSIDE SOURCES OF VALIDATION LIKE GRADES AND DEANS TO ACHIEVE!!!!!
Fuck a bunch of professional degree and licensure. I WANT A PLAQUE! Or a trophy. Or something. Maybe a ribbon? Also, why are they not mailing me my grades? What will my mother post on her refrigerator now? How can she know that she is proud of me? Do I just tell her? DO WE HAVE TO COMMUNICATE? DOES MY UNIVERSITY NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MY FAMILY WORKS AT ALL?????

Alas, I cannot link you to ALL THE FIC, or, you know, any of the fic. But possibly you will find it amusing when I tell you that *I* am planning to read some fic over winter break! For the first time in... 9.5 years, I think? My world is all askew! Also, thank goodness for renenet, who has been sending me links to stuff that won't make my eyeballs bleed.
