sisabetThis post is for my benefit mainly - I feel a bit flustered and need to figure out what I am doing this weekend so I will stop worrying.
Tonight: Drive to meet Mom with Cappy. I should get home around 10-11pm. I will not go out tonight. I repeat, I will not go out tonight. I will put the finishing touches (thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
drdawn I now know what to do on the last little bit tht bugged me) on the Brian/Justin Schmoop vid, render and save it. I will then start clipping and recutting Mission Temple. I will not go out tonight. I may drink a beer, but it will be at home. I will not go out tonight. I will stop at the drugstore and buy hair dye.
Saturday: I will wake up and get out of bed and walk the dog. I will shave my legs and apply generous amounts of self-tanner. I will paint my toenails. I will dye my hair. I will then take a nap from all that effort. I will not vid until this is done. I will not sit at my computer until I have accomplished these tasks. I will then reward myself by vidding until it is time to get ready for A and A's engagement party. I will allow myself time to actually get ready. I will straighten my hair and apply eyeshadow. I will not freak out that my jawline is starting to sag. If it looks like I am freaking out that my jawline is sagging, I will trim an hour from my vid-time and work out. I will drink a bottle of water if this occurs. I will go to A & A's engagement party. I will smile and speak to strangers. I will not sit in a corner and try to find a magazine to read. IF I dance, I will make certain I do not do my drunken spaz dance. I will remember to smile. I will remember people's names as they are introduced to me. I will make conversation and truly want to know about their lives. I will not stalk Batman if he should happen to be at this party (granted, the chances are remote, but I want to cover all my bases). I will be charming and gracious. I will not feel old. I will not mention gay porn unless the conversation drifts in that direction without any guidance from me, barring having a really good line in which case it would be a shame not to use it. Again, I will not mention any porn unless it it is vital to the conversation. I will remember to reapply my lipstick. I will wear lipstick in the first place. I will not embarrass A&A. I will pretend not to knowdrdawn if necessary.
Sunday: I will only take a shower if I feel like it. I will remember to eat. I will drink fluids. I will walk the dog. I will vid to my heart's content unless I remember what my original plans were. If I told my cousin I would go shopping with her last week and I forgot (I think I did) and she calls, I will go shopping. I will not resent the time away from my computer. I will buy strappy sandals. I will wash 3 loads of clothes. I will iron 3 shirts. I will not freak out that VVC is coming up and I am not ready. I will be in control.
There. That is better. I feel better at least. Do you feel better?
