A valid endeavor to discover Arthur Pendragon's hidden depths (via vidding) has uncovered the ugly truth: he kinda doesn't have any. Yep. He is pretty much all surface.  All broad shouldered, blond, stunningly handsome, literal knight in shining armor, surface.  My life is hard. 

You know what would help? Fic recs.  I KNOW people wrote stuff that was good this spring/summer/fall. I just have not been able to find it.

If you can make epic SV vids about how the Big Dumb Alien isn't just a pretty face who can lift heavy things, I have confidence that you can make epic Merlin vids about how Arthur is a literal knight in shining armour *with purpose*. Confidence, I say!
