Lex Luthor Does NOT want to be friends...

cappylicious got home yesterday from spending New Year's with our parents. The following conversation took place when I got home from work:

Me: Did you see what I did?? (indicates project open in Premiere)

Cappy: The question is: have you seen what you've done, sober? (indicates empty bottles and etc in kitchen)

Later:

Cappy: Did you just continue drinking until you just ran out of wine glasses?

Me: (sheepish) um, no? Cause there are short juice glasses and those work...

Cappy: Why did you even need the shot glass then? 

Me: I WAS CLIPPING SMALLVILLE, OKAY!!!!

I just want to go on the record with the fact that while I might be drinking A LOT to make this vid happen, I totally have a clip bin in Premiere labeled "Nefarious" and people should know this. Also, Amazon just delivered "Challenge of the Superfriends: Attack of the Legion of Doom" and I might have cried just a teensy-tiny little.

PS: Dear greensilver , I cannot find the toy monkey anywhere. Please send help. Or more booze. Either work at this point.

The toy monkey is in Requiem, which should be Season 8 Episode 14. I don't know that we ever see the toy monkey in frame with Clark, if that's what you're looking for -- or even with Lex, really; I can't remember exactly how the Lex part is shot with regards to the toy monkey. Mostly it's with Oliver.

I have no booze to send (at least, I have no booze here in SDW's basement), but if you need any clip help, give me a wave.

Okay, so the toy monkey never like, spins around or claps cymbals or anything like that? Cause I kinda just had that in my head and it ain't happening and so therefore fuck Season 8, it has NOTHING TO OFFER ME AT ALL!

However, this is fine since, yeah, um. I have Justice League Unlimited.

I think the toy monkey does in fact clap cymbals and things like that -- it's a toy monkey bomb, and I recall it making noise and doing things and that this was supposed to be menacing because Oliver thought it was going to blow him up. Possibly it also menaces Lex with its cymbals, but I can't recall; I've spent more time actively blocking out Requiem than I have most of my childhood traumas.

That said, you should watch Requiem, as depending on where you're going with the vid there might be useful stuff in there about Clark and Lex having a VERY bad romance. Toy monkey aside, it's also the episode of Darth Vader Lex stalking Clark and Lana from his van. Just make sure to start drinking at least twenty minutes before you watch so that the alcohol has time to kick in.
