OMG, I kinda want!

In other news, went to see Paranormal Activity tonight (and I didn't know anything about it other than it was low-budget and compared to Blair Witch).  I enjoyed it and it got at least one good scream out of me (but I am a screamer ;)

Cappy, however, is terrified and now refuses to go to sleep in her room. This would be fine if she didn't have to have ALL the lights on and the cats were not contemplating mutiny as Cappy outside her room this late is definitely Not. Done.

Also, I kinda want to watch The Exorcist right now and fall asleep on the couch (I sleep really good to that movie, for some reason) and I can't because there is no leg room.

This is perhaps my fault for telling her PA was a true story. I didn't think she'd BELIEVE me!

i totally slept with the lights on after Blair Witch... and I was the only one in my group who didn't think it was actually real footage... how innocent we all were, back in the 90s! :-)

Went to see it yesterday too with one of my sisters. Our other sister was most put out we went without her, but honestly? I think she would have cried she was so scared. As it is I had a hard time sleeping last night because I kept replaying some of the scarier parts in my mind. Luckily I had the cats to protect me, and everyone knows Demons hate cats and kitties will protect you from all hellion forces. Right? *is still kind of freaked out*

Yeah, every now and then a scene will sneak up on me while I'm doing something else and ARGH.

My big advice to my buddies who kinda want to see it but haven't yet is DON'T wait for DVD, because seriously, would you want to watch that IN YOUR OWN HOUSE? Especially if you live in a creaky triple-decker with noisy heaters. Or your apartment neighbors do mysterious things at odd hours. Or if your house SETTLES.

Yeah no, exactly! At least I can distance the experience by geography. I think the worst part about this movie is that a) you SHOULD be safe in your own house, b) especially in bed, and c) their house and bedroom was so normal looking. I know it wasn't about the house, but HER but still man! My idiot dog clomps around right above my bed every night at like 2 in the morning. I don't need that linked up with watching that movie in my house.

See, Cappy has been down on Sid lately, but I consider this moment His Time to Shine, because of course a DOG is gonna protect you from a demon.

Honestly, I don't know about the cats. I kind of think Tiny Kitten is already possessed a little bit and Boo Boo is likely to not want to wake up from his nap to even yawn. Honestly, I am probably prejudiced in my belief that cats are in league with demonic forces and I am positive YOUR CATS are purely a force for good in the world.

Not entirely forces for good. Our evil boss cat Jezebell was in my room last night sleeping and I figure she'd kick the ass of any force, demonic or not, who was coming into her "territory" so I was pretty safe by proxy. Our dog might bark like a spaz for a minute or two at a ghost or demon, but all he really wants is a carrot. I figure a demon would be well equipped to bribe him.

I was basically reading and ignoring the tv and I hear Em and I keep ignoring and then...AND THEN I HEARD JAYZ and I was all "Wait! That never happened!" and they had me from that point out.
