The following vid is not mine - not mine to such an extreme, in fact, that I was kicked off my own computer and forbidden to touch premiere during the editing process. I did, however, sister-beta this vid and now I shall claim it online as caphricacorn does not remember her LJ password. HA! Therefore, I shall thank myself immensely and say that I am indeed the wind beneath Cappy's wings. I am the meaning in her life, I am her inspiration. Or something.

Note: I understand that this vid left several viewers at the con feeling confused. I sympathize. Know this: no matter how confused you feel? It cannot be more confused than this vid* already is.  I also know that there are viewers who didn't know if this vid* was to be taken seriously. I feel your pain, but don't you think that the vid* takes itself seriously enough? And finally, for the h8ters: You cannot hate this vid* anymore than this vid* already hates itself. I loved this after I got past the 'oh god, not a Twilight vid' sentiment... because it's exactly what I see Twilight as. The subject matter is so ridiculous, but oh it looks so pretty, and I went to see the movie even though I was aware of those things, because oh, SO pretty. And the vid* really works well in that respect, because it is really good - but it's like a wink to the viewer "Yes, I'm aware this fandom is ridiculous but I couldn't not make the vid, look!". And that really echoes my sentiments for the source. And it's also, you know, a really good vid.

I work with teenage girls. I watch this movie *a lot* - in fact the moment I got that this movie is their "Dirty Dancing" a lot of things fell into place for me.

I, too, cannot turn away from Sparkly Things and as Cappy shares this fate, it might be genetic. In fact, when we previewed the web file, just before I uploaded it, we bemoaned the lack of sparkles in the vid and vowed that when we finally get to vid "New Moon" there will be sparkles everywhere.

For I went to jescaflowne's panel and a new world was revealed and, lo, it was SHINY.

I saw Twilight at the dollar theater. Best buck I ever spent. I made Eunice watch it post-chemo. She cackled her ass off. Edward Cullen is such an asshole adolescent which makes sense since he's had over a hundred years to perfect his angst.

This is hilarious! Oh, poor self-hating stalkery Edward, I so feel your pain. I don't think I'm the best person to really make a comment because unfortunately I've had to analyse Twilight footage more times that anyone should ever have to be subjected to, but for what it's worth, after all that rewatching I think this vid exactly what I think Edward would say in a vid about himself if he could, the poor dear. Hehe, awesome!
