It's 4am, I must be vidding...

I just... six months. Six months of staring at the same character and listening to the same song and granted, yeah, it isn't like I worked on this thing every single day or even every single week, but I was a workhorse considering it took me MONTHS to even like the thing and this is ME and I still kept working on it even when it is really easy for me not to finish something.
*pants*
But.. SIX MONTHS! I can't even tell what I am looking at any more. It is 4 am and I just realized that I have stared at this dude so much that he has begun to resemble a squirrel to me. Also? Instead of checking for timing on the last run thru, I got caught up in trying to prove the actor botoxed his forehead in the last year. He didn't. BUT STILL!
I want to be done. Please tell me I am done.*
I just picked a font. I am pretty certain it looks stupid, as I am font-tone-deaf. I suck. This vid is fluff and I struggled over it. Fluff isn't supposed to be hard - it is fluff! Fluff is the opposite of hard! MY WORLD IS ALL OFF KILTER.
I just. I need. I need to look at Paul Gross for a while. That sounds calming. Maybe rewatch that ep of SPN where Dean keeps dying. I like that.
SQUIRREL! OMG I AM VIDDING THE ADVENTURES OF SQUIRREL-MAN AND HIS BOYFRIEND... panda? I don't know. Please take this away from me now. **
*betas disregard even it I cry.
**in the interest of being completely fair to all parties involved and in order to distance myself from Unpopular Fannish Opinions: it is quite possible that my current conviction that Joe Flanigan looks like a squirrel is entirely influenced by the fact that I correct aspect ratio last and therefore have been staring at a rather pointier version of him for, I don't know, SIX FREAKING MONTHS, now.
However, I must point out: even in the incorrect aspect ratio, Paul Gross never resembles a squirrel. Nor does David Boreanez. Jared Padalecki does sometimes lean towards badger-esque, but I blame camera angles that tend to shoot up his nose. Very few people can carry off that shot.
Buffy sometimes gets chipmunky , but only in Season 1. I miss Buffy.

Date: 2008-05-29 02:17 pm (UTC)Having watched the footage of you vidding that you kindly shot for the documentary, I have soooooooo much respect for your dedication. I can't believe the slowness you put up with, not to mention the crashiness! Not since I struggled to run Premiere 3.0 on a third-generation Mac (pre-iMac, even!) have I seen such a nightmare. You are inspirational. You can do anything.

Date: 2008-05-29 04:26 pm (UTC)P.S. If it would make you feel more secure I could try to make up some shit for you to have to change, but I recommend sparing yourself the hassle. The squirrel is ded! Long live the squirrel!
