A Story About Vividcon 2007

True Story:

The entire weekend at VVC, my little sister caphricacorn  thought that when she heard people referring to "the male gaze" that we were referring to "Male Gays" which apparently worked for her up and until vid review and in depth vid review when the discussion was focused on "West of her Spine"

Vid Reviewer: *remarks on the male gaze in here's luck's Mal/Inara vid "Nothing New"*
Cappy: *makes mental note to watch that vid again because she totally missed that*

Vid Reviewer: *states something referring to female gaze*
Cappy: *is pleased because she totally supports more female gays in vids*

Vid reviewer Audience Member: *says something about male gaze of the vid*
Cappy: * thinks to herself that this could be referring to  Rudy/Dexter *
Vid Reviewer2: *takes exception to male gaze remark - states this is more a "predatory gaze"*
Cappy: *whoa, ya gotta stay away from those predatory gays. Supports less vids about them*

Anyhoo - VVC was fun if subdued for me (I think in part because I didn't let myself get too excited about it beforehand as it was up in the air the week before if I could even actually go).  Hopefully, I'll get the rest of my vids up soon (maybe today if I get off my ass) and then I'll have to seriously start new vid.
