Vid Update and I Got Up Way Early Today

sisabetWork has started a new shift supervision system which means that Team Leaders have to be present on 2 out of 3 shifts so I am now working at least one day a week 6am-2pm. The strangest thing? I kinda love it. It is so much easier for me to be at work at 6 than at 8, I think because when my alarm goes off before 5am, I'm trained to treat that seriously. Middle of the night, shit be going down, seriously.
Also, it is nice to drive to work with no traffic, it is great to be awake as the sun goes up (it is cliched because it is true - I really do feel grateful in that moment) and I get *so* much done because the kids are either asleep or starting school and I don't have to be dealing with crisis after crisis.
The getting to leave at 2 in the afternoon ain't bad either. Especially since we are rarely in crisis at 2 and you can actually leave on time.
Now I just gotta work on the collapsing until 8pm on the couch followup to this shift.
In other news - I updated my vid LJ entry/portal thingy finally - so please direct people here for now instead of my site for all of my online vids. Cappy told me she can update my site and so WHEE - eventually this will be unneeded but for now it works.

Also? If I have made a vid this year and it isn't on this list? Please let me know. I think I got everything but I WAS AWAKE AT 4:30 THIS MORNING!!!
Also 2: "Blades of Glory" is my new favorite unseen movie. Sorry Reno! 911 - but you had a really good run.
