But then, you know, hey! By posting, I had an actual thought. You know how we were sort of talking about additional source when I commented on your DS vid (well, you might not remember, but I did)? And you said it might make a good panel for VVC? I thought, yeah, it would and then promptly forgot to send you mail about it. I think I might send it along in my still-overdue fb on the con, I loves it so much. Psst... hey little girl, wanna run a show/panel with me? (I would totally understand if you said no.)

YAY! SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!!!

Additional/Alternative Source panel and/or show sounds extremely interesting - already I am thinking of several vids that I consider interesting. Do you think there are enough for a show (woefully ignorant me)? Sure - I'm in.

Between your knowledge of newer online stuff and my dinosaur's background, I bet we could! Just off the top of my empty noggin, there's yours and Lum's Whatever, your DS, Justine and Morgan's Starsky and Hutch, DJ's Professionals, a Media Cannibals Sentinel vid that uses blooper stuff... and I know Carol also did a HL blooper-reel vid, though I'd be careful about using two, and of course Killa and T Jonesy's Closer. I bet there's so much more that I never remember, and also, bad ones that do it (I can think of some awful ones that use fan art, for instance).

There is an SGA vid that uses behind the scenes footage -- it is possible that it played at the last VVC. It was fairly meta.

Passion, astolat's Desert Prince HL vid, uses a lot of desert/nomad footage from other sources. (And is it unique for being a vid accompanying an AU fanfic, or are there more?). Now that you mention fanart, there are two Photoshopped bits in there that don't quite work for me, but the rest of the vid I just adore.

Yeah, I was thinking of Desert Prince too since I used that in a show two years ago (but then, I worry that I will look like I'm stalking shallot or something). Iknow my memory will be jogged if I keep looking through stuff.

But of course, all this presupposes that the idea flies with the concomm, but hey... we have something to think about. And now back to our regularly scheduled vapidity.

I walked into mine this morning and called out "hello" and it just echoed. This has to be the side effect of something - normally my head is so cluttered that walking from space to space is impossible without out hopping over an ottoman and squeezing between bureaus.
