A Day for Discoveries

So I log on to do a quick and dirty update that most of my vids are now online (barring "Essence" which I am reencoding and "Whatever" which I am still uploading but Lum has "Whatever" posted, so chill) on the LJ entry I am using as a portal (new encodes on Peacekeeper! Closer! Cowboy! YAY!) and I see a new little button on the side above my update journal button. It says "My LJ" and so I clicked and now I find myself in the neatest little portal ever.

I have this box for a quick update - that I am using - and I can see over to my left that today is grissecon's birthday so congratulations! Tomorrow is sweetestdrain's birthday so we should all keep that in mind and post "Slings & Arrows" icons and stories.

So this is how all of you guys keep up when it is such and such's birthday. I was all amazed at y'all's memory ability cause I have been known to forget my own and now I find out there is this nifty portal.

Hey - I've used 0 out of 15 voice posts this month. I don't think I have ever used a voice post. What would I do on a voice post? I could do dramatic readings of badfic - I do that anyway when I am bored. I could read "The Cat in the Hat" the way I used to read it to The Boy when he was little. The fish in the pot? He sounds like Bob Dylan. "You should not be here, when the mother is not. You should not be here," said the fish in the pot.

See? In order to really *get* that, you'd have to hear it. It is all in the delivery. A lot of me is all in the delivery. I should make phone posts.

Me either. I just learned how to set up VM for my cell phone this year. I think I have to wait until January to figure out phone posts. But I have 'em and I am not using them.

All of the vids should be linked from an LJ portal page here http://www.livejournal.com/users/sisabet/220944.html *except* for the Smallville and Angel Lord King Bad Vids which I posted just a few days ago and I need actually add them into that portal page. Oh and my Vividcon Premiere vid is not on that page either - Kill Bill to "Ring them Bells" but it *should* be added to that portal by tonight. As should my LKBVs. So yeah - and scary thing? This is me being organized.

Hee! I have all these visions of Sisabet-as-Mountie! It is wonderous.

The LJ birthday thing - I almost never go to the My LJ page, although it looks quite handy. But I have a Semagic agent - client - whatever - that pops up with birthday announcements. It's been reminding me of my own birthday for about three days now. So when people seem totally on top of things and not forgetting birthdays, that might be another reason!
