So the time was about 11:10 am. I was at the laundromat. My cell rings.

sockkpuppett: I want you to know - I have already been strip-searched.

Me: Was her name Darlene and did she have hard eyes, but gentle hands?

Lum: She was beautiful.


Poor Lum, no one bought her dinner. She didn't even get a drink. I am not mopping my kitchen floor on purpose in the hopes that it will not cause her to be detained at the connectiing flight. She could be sent for reprogramming. Think about that!

Wow, I went to Belfast last week and all I got was a cursory hands-on experience with an anonymous security lady that lasted all of five seconds. On the plus side, she was wearing a uniform. I'm still jealous, though.

to just be glad it wasn't me, this time? Seriously, poor Lum -- frankly, it made Escapade a weirder weekend than necessary. Pass Daniel's hugs on to her -- you'll probably see her before I will. (And tell her she'd better have been wearing her pretty underwear!)
