Eve was all into the SMG/Ricky Martin aspect of the photo, but all I got to say is: That is Todd Manning. Todd Manning ya'll. The only soap opera character to be both original, scary and interesting as hell. The guy is like the Spike of "One Life to Live" - or he was (I haven't seen what is going on now, he is still on the show, right?)

What excited me about that cover is the thing in the corner, "Craig kisses Samantha"! My favourite ATWT couple of all time!!!! Now they had *hot* UST. I LOVED the original Craig, also known as Will Forrest on Murphy Brown. I miss him. Sniff.

I was completely obsessed with the whole Todd and his pseudo-redemption thing. I taped it everyday without fail. He was definitely the Spike of OLTL back in the day and he's still hot today.

Ohh, I was totally obsessed with Todd back in the day. I loved his story with Rebecca, the crazy religious girl who tried to save him, but uh, didn't. That was a big fannish lust for me. Unfortunately Roger Manning just left OLTL for another soap. *sob*

Oh God! The Rebecca Anti-Redemption Arc was fascinating - especially when Todd broke out of jail, and kidnapped her in a desperate suicide/murder thang. Those were the days...

I wish devilpiglet wasn't on the road right now - she would really enjoy this conversation.

I was so upset when it seemed like she was finally ready to dump Powell and get with Todd, and then she just, like, moved away or something. Todd was good with Blair, but Rebecca was the best cause she was so freaking weird. They had a really intense chemistry that's actually pretty rare on the soaps. Sigh.

Oh - I preferred Blair - I was a big fan of the "Most Pathetic Club" - I mean really - who else could compete with a serial rapist and social pariah but the woman who slept with Max on her wedding dress the night before she married the old man Asa and tried to commit suicide because boring as dirt Cord dumped her? Oh, wait - she tried to kill herself after Max got over his gambling addiction and went back to his wife and Cord found her. Whatever - her deciding to sleep with Todd on Christmas Eve because she was to cheap to go to the mall and buy him a CD was precious. Just precious.

Oh yeah, Blair was the perfect woman for Todd, no doubt. I think I liked Rebecca best because it was just so obviously doomed. And Rebecca was absolutely apeshit insane, which I related to at the time *g* In any case, Todd is definitely the best character in soap history. There's just no comparison.

The really hullarious thing about that pic to me? The whole reason I started watching AMC in the first place was because Sarah joined the cast (started to adore her way back on Swans Crossing...does anyone but me actually remember that show?), and then I got hooked OLTL because of the Todd story. Oh, the memories. lol.

Word on Todd Manning. Such a sexy, complicated, loving and volatile man. At one point the actor left OLTL to star on a very short-lived primetime show called Prey with the woman that plays Grace on Will and Grace. On that show he was a killer and we got to see him shirtless. Sigh, those were good times.
