So I just finished watching "Terminator 3" cause it was on and it has the dude who plays Ben Hawkins from Carnivale and dude, why am I explaining myself? Yeah, I watched "Terminator 3" what of it?

But! BUT! Someone needs to please tell me that Lex Luthor's nightmare from "Scare" was not taked exactly from this freaking movie cause it *looked* exactly like it to me and I am not about to go and check now. I am too upset.

I had plans to vid that, man. And it wasn't even Smallville. It was Terminator 3! I feel all violated. And dirty, and not in the good way.

I will never trust Smallville again. Just, yech! If I wanted to vid fucking Terminator fucking 3, I'd vid Terminator fucking 3.

If it makes you feel better I am fairly (like, 98%) sure that they nicked the T3 stuff at the last minute as a replacement for a Lexana dream-wedding. Lex blew up the world instead of marrying Lana! It's an even trade, apparently. *g*

Terminator 3 and The Animatrix convinced me that the Terminator verse and the Matrix verse are in fact one and the same, just different points in the history/timeline.

It also helps that the Terminator franchise and the Matrix franchise both suffered from too-many-sequel-i-tis, cosmically putting them in the same general karma zone anyway.

Well - this just feels like a betrayal, y'know? Like - I think I am getting something and instead it is this other thing.

The thing that really chafes? They didn't even bother trying to make the footage look different or cut it up or anything. They just played it exactly as it airs. That is LAZY. Of course - it is SMALLVILLE and I am beginning to believe that lazy is not even the least of their problems. This is just a symptom of a lot of things, and if you can't even count on them to be original in the visuals, then just why am I here?
