sisabet: (Angel down)

Mom and I got so much done today that I can't even believe it - on the drive home from Hopkinsville, we listed everything and it just seemed like a lot for us but it has been only one day, so it must be true.

Or something. I'm only posting instead of sleeping because I just finished reading Busiek/Immonen's Secret Identity and the TV is on but I wasn't really watching it - something about Jessica Simpson and dolls and the Twilight Zone and I'm sitting here not even looking at the TV but thinking about how my head and throat hurt because today it was over seventy degrees and yesterday it was snowing and I can't deal and now my allegies make me pay and I was getting ready to just wallow and complain to myself about all this and in the back of my mind I hear Angel speak. This actually happens to me all the time so I thought nothing of it.

And then I look over at the TV (I am camped out on the sofa in my parent's living room) and it is not my inner Angel -- it is "Redefinition" and it is total found Angel! Even in the sad realm of a home without Angel DVD sets, he will show up to brighten my day with Broody Gloom! Found Angel! Featuring the hottest he will ever be! THIS IS THE BASIS OF MY ANGEL -- the key to understanding him can be found RIGHT HERE! Well, here and in Somnalbulist and Epiphany. Oh and while my Angel was formed and shaped by the previously mentioned eps - a wonderful example of just exactly who he is can be found in "Habeas Corpses."

And Angel just took off the coat! GOD! The Hotness just builds, doesn't it?

Oh, and also "Diary of a Mad, Black Woman" really really sucks. Just trust me on this. I actually worked out a way where the Kimberly Elise character was insane and we were seeing the movie through her skewed reality and Shemar Moore's character was actually a manifestation of a self-help book and romance novel she was reading, and never existed. Tyler Perry just... he needs to stop surrounding himself with people who are obviously constantly telling him how wonderful he is, because I should not have had to "Turn of the Screw" this movie in order to sit through it.

And in just a moment - Angel will wear a hoodie and my day will be complete. He really does make everything better.

He does. He's like Nirvana in a way.

Angel will wear a hoodie

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one with a thing for his hoodie.

I trust you. Dave and I watched the trailer for it online yesterday, and the awfulness was absolutely mesmerizing. Dave says, "If I promise to be good for the rest of our lives, can you please never make me watch that movie?"

I read the reviews last week and cringed so hard that my shoulder blades met. Actually? After all of the hype? There's nothing good out at the movies right now. There's no way that I'm going to go pay to see "Be Cool" when the reviews for "Man of the House" are better. God. That's saying something.

Found!Angel! That's awesome. I wanna find me some Angel. Right now!
