Happy birthday just_eunice! You are so many things to me: AE guru, best con roomie eva!, beta, friend, vidder -- the list just goes on. You need to kick back today, tell responsibility to find you another time - and just chill.

Now - what do I talk about today? Hmmm - thanks to Crash-And-Burn-Beta by renenet the other night, I might have a Smallville vid to post tonight. Tomorrow at the latest, as I am *not* going to hold on and coddle this vid. This vid is a big girl and needs to just get out there in the world and make her way.

Also, too much Chloe and I get really hyper. Seriously - I bounce off walls anyway. I don't need to bounce down the street as well. So, tonight I fix a few things like eyelines not quite hitting where they need to go emotionally, smooth a transition or two and decide if my attachment to one clip really justifies it existing in this vid when the only thing I have to recommend it is "OMG, she is soooo cute here!" which is as valid as anything for justifying a clip, but... if I am including the cute just because it is cute and narratively the vid would be better served if I went with something else - I need to decide what my motivation is with this clip. And, as renenet pointed out last night, Chloe is plenty cute throughout the vid.

She really is just adorable. I hope she doesn't die. I am tired of adorable and plucky young girls biting the big one. On that note - I plan on spending at least part of the weekend reading stories at 4colorheroines.

Most of the weekend will be spent on a trip home to make my car inspection-worthy and to complete a few more scene inspections for work (damn that Chloe vid! I am all addicted to investigating now). Oh - and Starbucks? Mom - Cappy? Starbucks?

Oh - and beta for Flo - we gotta talk. Cause you need someone who can look at this vid and doesn't collapse in goo. Cause ::love:: so much. Man.

I cannot WAIT to see this vid! I've been wanting to do a Chloe vid for ages and ages (Dido's "Don't Think of Me" is my ultimate Chloe/Clark/Lana triangle song inside my head), but lack the funds to get nice clean DVD source. I will happily live vicariously through you (mostly becasue you're 1000x the vidder I am).

Oh shush - I am anxiously awaiting your vid!

And this is just a little two minute song that totally became Chloe to me one day and I wasn't gonna vid it but then I decided that more people should just give in and vid Chloe. And now I want to do a bouncy, peppy vid because even with all of the angst (and the never-ending crying of S2) she is *still* the happiest person in Smallville. She's just a fun gal.

remind me, the next time you're up here, to kidnap you and play you my season 1 SV mix cd (assuming I can find it/recreate it following the great iTunes playlist wipe of OSX...). 60% of the disc was pretty much Chloe songs *lol*
