sigh. I feel compelled to admit that I actually like TMBG. In fact, there is an inprogress TMBG vid currently on my harddrive, parts of which I'm really pleased with, parts of which I still need inspiration for if it's ever going to see the light of day. ah well, I guess if everyone hates TMBG so much, it'll save me on bandwidth ;-)

Dude - Dawn had never even listened to them when she started the damned club! I cam ehome from work and she showed me the site and I was like - "You like these guys." and she was all "I do?" and I was all, "Yeah, they were on Tech TV last week." and Dawn was all, "Oh, right, right. Well, the site is still funny."

oh yeah, I think I saw them on tech tv too. they also hold the distinct honor of being the only semi-famous band I've ever seen live. interesting crowd in attendance, let me tell you.

I believe that TMBG and REM are the same person. You never see 'em together, right? Just take this simple test: Listen to "Orange Crush" and "Someone Keeps Moving My Chair." They're either the same person, or there's a massive conspiracy underway.

I feel mildly responsible for this TBMG hatred (only not really). An innocent query from me as to what music Evil! Warren might like, a sly suggestion from Beamer 242 that he might listen to TMBG, and Dawn's impressionable girlish heart was poisoned against them.

I am sure they are really lovely, and that sisabet could hold hands with any of them without endangering her soul in any way.
