So I admit I was overly tired today and missing my normal outlets and I went into Gilmore Girls and was a bit emotional (and also there was no Mrs. Kim and I missed her) and Lorelei broke my heart and my heart is just in preparatory breaking for Rory and so I turned to House in my time of need.

A Short and Open Letter to the People Who Make House



Dear Sirs and/or Madams:

Please, for the love of GOD, if you do hurt, then give me comfort. Seriously. Giving me hurt, hurt, hurt and then ending the episode on hurt is not conducive to my sanity.

At the very least, you coulda let House and Wilson make out a little. I mean - fair is fair, is all I am saying.

I flipped over to House for about four seconds and there was a guy autopsying a possum or something. WTF was THAT about? I think I'm scarred for life.

That was a dead cat - the pet of a patient. House was convinced that whatever killed the cat was killing the patient, so he had the cat dug up.

Ah, okay. See, now I feel stupid. But in my defense, it was an accidental channel change when I was going back to Live after pausing the TV in the middle of Scrubs...

Yeah - the medical parts of the show I don't really care about (except in the "House autopsies a stuffed animal" sequence his hands were shaking and I WAS DYING) but that is now why we watch.

We watch for the pure, true, despite the vicodin, love. Because Wilson misses who House used to be. And House needs this more and Wilson buys him a 'ho to make him feel better and then wants to send her home because she is too pretty.

Canon, baybee. Canon.
