Well it could have been worse, Clark could have come home and gone to make a sandwich and found Alicia chopped to bits in his fridge.

Sigh.

I miss Swim-Fan's crazy ass already. I also feel like I missed a big chunk of the episode and no, I didn't fall asleep or leave the room, it is just I am watching and then I missed a ton of shit.

I also held my breath when Jason was being strangled. Don't die Jason. Please don't die. You are my only hope.

Dr. Quinn is scarier than Hairy Lionel. She is Jason's mother? This makes no sense at all. How could she have raised him?

Oh dammit. svmadelyn has now ensured that I will always think of Jason as Jason Quartermaine back when he was all good and premed and the Pride of the Quartermaine clan. This means, of course, that next week Jason will be in a horrible accident and become brain damaged with no memory and also with a complete personality change and will go and work for the mob. And team up with Sonny. And fight crime. Well, when he isn't waging crime.

Or of course, he will team up with Lex and form a duo so hot the likes of it has NEVER BEEN SEEN!!

Damn. So that is Lex's eval plan? He will seduce Lana's boyfriend away from her? Works for me.

And yeah - Chloe has a storyline again (YAY), I still dig Lois and Lana was cute. Clark - I can't watch Clark.... although - you know? Did anyone try CPR on Alicia at all? I mean - I get that Clark was upset and she looked kinda sorta mostly dead - but still. He can move really really fast and I am tired of him just watching girlfriends bleed to death and die (Skinwalkers). That being said - Man, I am pissed about Swim Fan.

Clark's pain broke me. I seriously liked Alicia and while I loved Chloe and Clark's final scene, I really wish Alicia didn't have to die. Gah. His screaming gave me chills.

Noo joke on Jason's mother. Gah, it's like she Lionel's evil twin.

Yes, now that she knows Clark's secret (or the most obvious part of it, anyway), it's hard to see how Chloe can survive much longer.

If this was the old "Superman" series with George Reeves, she wouldn't have survived past the end of that episode (since people who found out that Clark was Superman always fell off of mountains or woke up to find that it was all a dream or got amnesia, or something, within the space of a half-hour episode -- oh, except for the mind-reading burro, but the burro was deemed utterly trustworthy and circumspect, not being human).

Would Clark's guilt over Alicia's death be in any way diminished if he discovered that almost her last act on earth had been to betray the spirit (if not the letter) of her promise to keep his secret, by staging that demonstration for Chloe? Hmmmm. Probably not.

Alicia - I call her Swim Fan. It makes sense if you watch the show in my living room. Because of how she stalked Clark and fell all in love with him right away - she Swim Fanned him.

S3 was actually chock full of "Swim Fan: The Movie" tributes. I think The Boy kept track of them.
