So, I'd be remiss not to mention here that if you wanted to watch "The Invisible Man" and know the pure true love of Bobby and Darien - or just check out a really cool show - you can.

Yes, I know that the episodes are not available on DVD outside of region 2 (and S2 is not on DVD at all) and I know that SciFi is not rerunning it and yes - I know all this. But through the magic of bittorrent and the work of a lot of lovely and dedicated fen, there is still I-man to share. So go to [livejournal.com profile] hot_donuts for more info and share the love and the next time someone says, "I need chicken and sausages and someone to love me!" you will know what the hell they are talking about.

This post brought to you by me noticing that the torrent for "Brother's Keeper" just went up. Ahhhh, Brother's Keeper. Seeeeeaaasssoooonnnn twwwwwwwoooooooo. PAIN! TRAUMA! THE BOUNDARIES OF SCIENCE!!

Good times.

And he isn't really invisible. I mean, he is just not all the time and I should really post Sex and the Invisible Man. My bad.

I think you've done it this time. Will hunt for the first couple of episodes as soon as I get home.

Just don't leave it too soon, will you? At least not before you vid it.

Heee - look, I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. Watch the first 12 eps in order. That is all I ask. Watch them and if you are not completely satisfied and dying to continue then I will not give you your money back, but I will make for you the Brian vid of your choosing.

That is how confident I am that you will love this show.

Oh Liz! Just the thought of you making a Brian vid for me is too good to be true that I'm practically in the I-Man fandom. Hee.

See, I have a very insidious plan. This show develops the characters and relationships quite deliberately and so you need at least until episode 12 to *really* get who these people are and what they are about.

Then - then you start getting into how they are just beginning to trust and rely on each other (all of them) and then... you get this *fall* into deep emotion and so by ep 13 you will be eating out of my hand. Hee. And then it is just a matter of time until you see "Flowers for Hobbes" and no one makes it out of that episode alive. But I have full faith I will not have to challenge you to watch up to "Flowers For Hobbes" in fact...I bet you are hooked after "Ralph" -- YAY!

Also - they are just *so cute* Gah!

I have to agree. I was simply *enjoying* it until I got to Flowers for Hobbes. I was *hooked*. And you know why. :)

Awww my heart! I can't wait.

I'm even gonna let it interrupt my working through AtS S4 (!!!)

Actually - Angel S4 is *rough* - I mean it is good, but emotionally it is very very strenuous. This is why we need hiatuses/

It is very angsty and frustrating and my whole Angelworld is shaken and ARGH!

Downloading I-Man as we speak...

OMG Flowers for Hobbes killed. me. And then I went back and re-read your post about it and died all over again.

See... when it was first on, I stopped watching right after the episode before Flowers for Hobbes. Because I was a fool. And now... now I have seen the light. *hums happily*

OMG! You quit watching because of the Blind SUPERMODEL!!!

Date: 2005-01-26 04:45 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] wrenlet.livejournal.com
Did not!! ... I quit watching because of the Aqualung chick. Actually, Baby happened between those two eps, and the Aqualung episode was not sufficiently enthralling to overcome sleep deprivation*. I should have given it one more chance! *cries*

*Nothing but Buffy survived that year, even Angel got taped and shelved for later. Aiiieee.

Oh that's right. The girl with the Dumbest Superpowers Ever! That and the Blind Supermodel and Baby - all of these things were enough to make anyone miss the incredible Brilliance of "Flowers for Hobbes" - but now you have come back to the fold. Hurrah!

This is practically guaranteed. Heh - IM me.

I'm going to pimp this post over at [livejournal.com profile] the_official so that hopefully you'll get some more seeds:)

Ohh yes - the more the merrier as far as seeding and downloading. I can't seed anything until I get this vid wrapped, but then I vow to do my part.

ah, the joy of I-Man...

Your posts on the hidden treasure of I-Manishness are, well, a delight. Thanks for being such a good pimper of the wonderfulness of Bobby and Darien.
