Ohh - so renenet you know how I sent you a draft of the Vid in Progress last night and told you I finished - that I had done all I can do? Um - now not so much. In fact - don't even watch what I sent you - it is crap. It is pixelated crap - I can do better. I swear I can. And the thing with thing smashing at the end? I lost track of it - I get very confused at the end of things. Kanzeyori gave me a breakdown of it so now I have a map to look at. She is such a pirate. So wait. I am prepared to give you back the extension to 20 days if you wait.

Tonight I vid yet again and HEY - I have not eaten again today. Sometimes when I get really vid-invested I get skinny.

Also tonight I read Yuletide stories that are NOT the Invisible Man stories and I leave comments on those same stories because I want to do that before the reveal of authors is made.

Because once the authors identities are known - I will be waaaay to busy stalking the people who wrote "Control" and "Fish and Game" to read anything else. elynross who wrote last year's Iman fic "Laughing All the Way" is already being stalked as is basingstoke.

Oh yes. Be afraid. Be very very afraid.

No - YOU GAVE ME A SMASHING MAP! I so needed that cause I lost track and I thought I had 3 skips cause Ellen and renenet agreed on that number but I CANNOT COUNT because I get lost and overwhelmed at the end. So there are 4. And the last skip is strange and off-putting and while that is kind of the point of the vid, it is not strange and off-putting like the rest. It is strange in a new way and in the last 10 seconds one should not introduce new ways of being strange. Or something.

Keep the last skip tho, I would take out one of those in the middle...

But yeah, 5 skips even, or pare down to three, but 4 is too strange when so little introduced, you mainly have twos and threes as a structure.

See - you I have on Do Not Spoil status and then I change my mind because you have been seeing this vid for months now and I've been talking about this for even longer and I am confused. Because the selfish part of me is all "LUM - WATCH THIS!!" but then the unselfish part of me adds in a very tiny voice, "later."

I am so very happy that you are watching the show that it has driven me insane.

Although - permetaform raised some interesting points - I think I might actually need you to help me with something so - yeah - you are not renenet. You get no dispensation. You must wallow in the thick of things. Except I do not want to spoil your I-man experience! ACK!

I want to buy Dewey a suit and Lum is the only person who can go shopping with me for it. So we are dressing him up and you will listen to his little recitation and you will clap. Because his heart is set on this. And hopefully we can get him to stop chewing on his tie before the big day.

Soooooo... for many various and sundry reasons my internet connection is lost. It is like an episode of Farscape actually and to try and correct it would possibly involve time travel and the irradication of an entire species of people.

Also - I've got Dewey in the suit, but we just can't seem to keep him in his shoes.

Dewey is in the suit and his shoes are on and velcroed securely and hopefully are on the right feet. He has chewed a hole in one of the sleeves, but I arranged a filter so that you don't automatically look at the hole.

Actually losing my connection has been the best thing eva for this vid. I have rethought major portions and retooled a bit. Well not major portions - any change at this point seems *major* but I have streamlined the ending to be more reflective of the front (Kanzeyori's suggestion) and I am happy with less glass breakage (I always think about what a mess that is to clean up) and I have more silver-eyed Bobby at the silver-eyed Bobby parts (but I did not mess with the headbutt as that is totally sacred) and I streamlined the "When morning breaks, we hide our eyes and our loves aching, nothing's strange" part to just be slower and more poignant. I hope. Because that part should be poignant. If you are talking about just going forward and holding back your love to keep things normal and whole and then the next line is about how it was in your hands and then it slipped right out again -- then the loves aching/nothing strange part has to hurt. I think. It should hurt me.

And then I just retimed and refiltered a bunch. I've decided damn the source - this puppy has escapade written all over him. Dewey might have an outburst in front of all of those nice ladies, but you never can tell with Dewey - he might not.
