sisabetI forgot what week it was and I thought that I was up to Batgirl #59 and so I clicked a link and now I am spoiled because I am stupid and did not line up at Comics Interlude like a good little girl yesterday.
I haven't been all month cause - um, no money at all. Comic books aren't expensive, comparatively, but they aren't cheap and I remember when they didn't even cost all of my allowance (back in the day you could by a comic book *and* a 45 record for under $2. Sigh. Also - Big Macs used to cost a buck thirty - I just thought I should throw that in. And roller skates had 4 wheels each). And since I do want to read Nightwing #100 but the blurb made it all about Tarantula and while I like the fact that at least Tarantula sees the Bruce/Dick thang (I can identify) she just isn't all that important to me, so staying away and not buying any comics until the next paycheck has not been hard.
But now - ACK! It would be better to not know. But I love Cassandra and I want a Jordan Catalano icon of her that says "Batgirl Can't Read" or something cause that breaks my heart.
And! She called Tim by his real name recently and I think that is this huge breakthru for her. It is for me.
