sisabetLast night I noticed that there has been a bit of a jump in my Flist and so for all new readers here: Welcome. Nice to see you. I think you may possibly be here by mistake, but pull up a chair and we shall suss this out and get you back on your way.
First of all and most importantly: This is my sacred space devoted to Me. Seriously - it is the All About Me, All the Time and I go on at length about any thing that sparks my fancy. When I say at length -- I mean at length. When I say anything, I truly mean anything. I am also prone to using pretentious words out of nowhere like "suss" or phrases like "sparks my fancy" because sometimes I want to talk like Spike. The problem is, I don't have a very good Spike voice.
(ETA: And my spelling's atrocious
ETA 2: I rarely use cut-tags. I don't like how they look on my own LJ. Again - All About Me, here. If you don't like it, move to Russia)
OH! That is another thing!! I am extremely fannishly inclined. I mean extremely and I am liable to switch back and forth between fandoms in a single post without much warning or preamble. renenet I am *this* close to writing that story) all of my guys are gathered round the fire. Some of my guys aren't even my guys (yet) and some of my guys are actually my girls but I don't think labels are helpful for anyone.
Then Apart from the Bonfire there are the Dudes Lurking In the Bushes just past the Bonfire of the Superheroes and sometimes I am so totally in love with these guys...
I am easy for a pretty face and a sad story. Add in Superpowers and I'm a goner.
I have never finished a story and I probably never will as I lack discipline and focus. I abandon fandoms at will, and pick up others quickly. Angel is always on topic, but if you are hanging around waiting for me to post thoughts about QaF then it will be a long wait. Not that I won't do it, just you'll have to wade through a lot.
I don't often post vids - a few a year and the fandoms are pretty varied so if you are hanging around in the off chance I am gonna post a Smallville vid or a Farscape vid or something else.... well, it will be like waiting on a QaF post - I won't say that it won't happen... it'll just be a while. A long long while full of me rambling on and on about Fantasy Island crossovers and the obvious influence of Bluegrass on Gansta Rap. It might not be worth it for you.
So, you've found out you have friended me and what you get is just not what you expected? What to do??
Well, my friend, the answer is simple - there is no need to ask permission to friend and certainly no need to ask permission to defriend. There is no need to fret that my feelings will be hurt or that I will track you down and ask "WHYYYYY!!??" and then cry and wail and nash my teeth. Or would I knash my teeth? I can never remember. I mean - sure if you are a personal friend of mine and you defriend me I am gonna AIM you and go "Yo, what is the dealio?" and then you will laugh at me attempting to use the word "dealio" and I will glower and threaten to cut you and then we will talk about Angel. Because that is just how my life works. But unless we talk everyday or I am related to you - my psyche can handle it.
Now - I don't really friend anyone unless I meet them in person through other friends - nothing against anyone but Geez Louise, it is hard to keep up around here. If I *have* met you and failed to friend you - please give me the doofus slap on the back of the head. I just figured out today I thought I had friended 2 people that I hadn't. I just thought they were really really quiet.
So - if you made it this far - Cool. This was me being brief. Oh, and succinct. Yep - this is as lucid as it gets, people.
