I stayed in tonight because drdawn had a date and I have a vid to remaster, so I'm baby-sitting.

Dawn cancelled her date to stay home and watch "The Next Episode" on Showtime. She is sitting in front of the TV watching the last battle and clapping and laughing for Quest. Quest's baby mama is also in the audience and Dawn is now telling me that Quest is the obvious winner and his baby mama is so happy because they broke up over his love of music, so she is invested in him winning.

Naps are good. New Hard Drives that give me problems and make Lilah move all jerky are not good.

I need something to read.

I don't know what I am doing - the speed on these clips is all fucked to hell and this codec is barely compressing anything and did I mention that I do not know what I am doing?

It is ridiculous and stupid, the fact that I have no capture card. I have no explanation for my current capture card-less state. At this moment, I think if I bought one all of my problems would be solved. My clothing would fit better, my dog would be happier, my job would become simpler. The Student Loan people would leave me alone - I can imagine the conversation with the Department of Education guy now, "Hey! I got a capture card!" and dude would be all, "That's great! We're righting off the rest of your loan, especially since you weren't able to make a living wage in your field of study. Have fun with that nifty capture card!" and then I would be all, "Thanks, I will!"

Dammit Lilah! Cooperate. She is an onery little bitch sometimes. If premiere shuts down one more time, I am opening Word and writing the Babylon scene.

Also - if I had a capture card I could finally do my "White America" vid featuring Bill O'Reilly and The View chicks and George Bush (look at these eyes; baby blue, baby, just like yourself...)
