I love this vid. It's all about my poor, sweet (well not so sweet), impulsive guy and his big ole shortcoming. Of course, I am talking about Angel. This vid is wonderful only if you want a vid that increases your understanding of the character, points out an aspect of the show you may have missed, and enjoy watching movement and color combined to a masterful aesthetic effect. Oh - it's also good cause Angel is really, really hot. And he puts out fire with gasoline. And David Bowie's voice just... let's just say that the song choice here is very, very appropriate. I need a moment.

See - I knew that Lilah won. I knew that. But I kinda short-changed her and W&H and figured she just lucked into being in the right place, right time and took advantage of the circumstances. But this vid points out that Angel has been totally predictable whenever he is backed into a corner with W&H. And W&H has to know this. You don't run a multi-dimensional evil corporate entity based in the ancient origins of evil without figuring out a thing or two. So, exactly what has W&H been controlling and for how long? And when will poor Angel get a clue. Cause he breaks my heart here. That last bit - just, "Stop Angel! Think about it!" and I die and want Lum to post more about this. So I will shut up now.

Not only am I excited about this vid being finished (Whee) but both Lum and I finished vids this weekend, which means that we are finally on the same page and ready to start on The Vid That Will Consume Our Brains. Well, that and some remaster projects. But I'm totally psyched about The Vid That Will Consume Our Brains. Cause, pretty. I'll give you a hint: it involves Angel. Brian is a rapper/record producer. He has fought his way up by any means possible and finally has arrived at the top. He has money, success and fame only to now be hit with charges that he sold out and went soft. Enter Justin - an angry young man who harbors an incredible talent in an unlikely personage. No one will take him on, but Brian is intrigued. Through Justin he finds his creativity revived and a new lease on rhymes. Also - Justin casts Brian as Batman to his Robin and they fall in looove. The end.
