(no subject)
Feb. 22nd, 2003 01:28 amI haven't posted anything for awhile, but I was sick and the better and then sick again. I am also vidding constantly (when sitting upright permits) and coherent thoughts are not flowing.
Dawn forgot to pay her credit card bill and headtilt.com is down. I was going to sweep in and pull a save at the last minute, but then I decided that I wanted nothing to do with the phone. Dawn promises that the site will be back up this weekend.
I may be depressed or the OCD may be getting a smidge out of control. Remains to be seen. I got stuck on a few things this week, but eventually I was able to kind of wrest my attention away. So far no medication, but it seems almost ridiculous to put it off at this point as I know the drill and where this is heading.
Good thing about the OCD getting worse? The Angel-pimpin' vid is almost done. Nothing else will be accomplished and I can't clean my room for organizing belts (don't ask - but if you find yourself spending over an hour coordinating the belt rack -and you don't even own that many belts - get the hell out of your room!)and I have bills stacked up to the roof - for once the money the money and the stamps as well (can't find a pen or the checkbook - damn!) - But Kid Rock Angel will Survive!
On the puppy update: Thank you guys so much for all of your kind comments and well-wishes! Knucklehead is pretty much back to his old self. Daddy called tonight and he is eating regularly again, although he seems to tire a bit easier. I think Dad and Knuckle are going to have long conversation about Knuckle taking it easy for awhile - Dad will impart the wisdom that it isn't necessary to chase every cat/other dog/cow/squirrel/rock that looks like it is moving that you see.
Cappy is convinced that Daddy loves Knuckle more than her. Probably so, Cappy. Dawn and I always accepted that Dad likes the dogs better. Frankly they are a lot nicer to him than any of his teenage daughters were/are. Also - the dogs? Never drove the car without oil, got drunk on Halloween and split their heads open in the Druther's parking lot, or were suspended from school for smoking...well, there was Chocolate..but he was a rebel I tell ya... Cappy grumbles that Knuckle and Scully and Little Boy and et al have had every shot known to man and she is still waiting for her Tetanus booster. I know that Dawn gave her some medical books that demonstrate what happens to a human with tetanus, but she has some lee-way here. The booster doesn't have to be on the exact anniversary. I also try to comfort her by letting her know that if she freaked at the pediatrician's office and ran off into the woods, Daddy and Scully would walk around the area and look for her. Well at least until it gets dark...or really cold.
