Jan. 19th, 2003 02:10 pmDelays caused yesterday by sudden emergence of a migraine that knocked me flat. I blame the vid I've almost finished "Middle of the Road." - I'm considering putting a warning label on it - like those video games that may cause seizures. Did I just mention almost finishing a vid? Me? Cause that never happens - I'm so excited! Yay!
This is the vid that pulled me out of my funk - go watch it now: Ability to Swing - then bow down at Luminosity's feet and beg her to make another. It is a Highlander vid and you don't have to watch the show to enjoy it (although I am finding that the more I learn, the more meaningful the vids are - my first "well, duh" moment of the day). Lum calls it a Duncan drool vid, and while she isn't wrong (drool a-plenty) - there is a whole lot more going on then just that. Of course, if you give a half naked man a sword and then let Lum vid it, something just magical happens. Sigh.
I'm also excited cause here's luck just posted a revised version of Writing Notes and she did what I really thought impossible: she made it better. This is, without reservation, my favorite Willow/Tara relationship vid. It is just beautiful.
Go watch and discuss and for goodness sakes let the ladies know what you thought.
Oh, yeah - my second "well, duh" moment of the day: GIP - I just got what that means, heh. Now all I have to do is crack the code of what YMMV means and I am in business...
