sisabetSo I just finished watching that old Bette Davis movie "Jezebel" and I was gonna warn for spoilers and all, but ya know what? That movie has been out for 66 years. That is a lot of years. You could like double all the years I have been alive and then subtract them from 66 and you would still have enough years to be born and grow up old enough to watch this movie.
So no bitching I spoiled you about this movie. You have had 66 years. It isn't as if I said that Bette Davis was Darth Vader's father. OMIGOD - what if she was? I wish I had seen that movie...
So anyway - Ole Jezzie is a rich debutante in pre Civil War New Orleans and she wants her boyfriend played by Henry Fonda to be all up in the other dudes faces about her honor. I think she wants him to fight a duel. I kinda slept through this part, actually. So she wears this red dress and that is just not done and causes a scandal and as Lum always says - you just don't cross the Junior League. They will CUT YOU!
So her punk-ass man is all "Oh Jezebel, you *will* dance in that red dress and all will stand and mock you for being such a fucking Jezebel!" and she is all "Dude! It is like my fucking name and the title of the movie and what the fuck did you expect? I am played by Bette Davis - I need DRAMA!" and then he is all "Dance, bitch, dance!" and I start to get strangely turned on by Henry Fonda...
So anyway - after he goes dead sexy on her ass - she is all "I ain't sorry" and he is all "Bye, bitch!" and she is all "I don't care" and he is all "Well, then I will just go to New York and marry the most boringest woman I can find this side of Melanie Wilkes" and she is all "Oh you will? Well meet my new man BUCK!" and he is all "Fuck Buck - I am going to fight the yellow fever in New Orleans WITH MY BARE HANDS!" and she is all "Buck, fight Henry Fonda's even punk-assier brother for me cause I am all bored and pissed at that punk ass bitch Henry Fonda." and Buck is all "BOURBON! I LOVE BOURBON!" and The Punk Assier little brother is all "I will shoot you!" and Buck is all "No you won't" and Punk Assier is all "Yes I will" and Buck is all "No, listen this is stupid" and Punk Assier is all "BANG! Wahhhhh!! Buck's dead and it is all your fault Jezebel!" and instead of kicking Punk Assier in the nuts, Jezzie goes all wimptacular and goes with Punk Ass to live in a leper colony or something.
Now I do that meme that is floating around about vids that might exist one day. Cause I live to follow. Also I am depressed and cannot remember Friday.
