The thing with Gwen Stacy is that she's the ... hm. The Jesse? The Tara? Of Marvel comics. She's the one who always stays dead, no matter who gets resurrected around her (and Marvelverse is like Jossverse -- almost nobody stays dead) because her death had such a huge resounding impact on Peter's story. And I'm not selling the marvelverse here, am I? It's really not packed with tragic permanent, unexpected deaths. [hides Illyana Rasputin under a sofa cushion] Gwen is one of the few, the proud.
I am so reserving judgement until the end of the arc. If she's still dead then, I'm going to be upset. Such a waste of a character. I mean, if you were going to kill her off, why do the big reveal to her just before?
