Low Blood Sugar and Jazz...

I need to remember to eat - especially on days when I get all caught up in my head.
Otherwise, I start thinking things like John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" - the complete album - is all about Spike's journey.
Now I am off to finishing packing up/throwing away the contents of the supposedly "empty" rooms.

Date: 2004-06-13 04:50 am (UTC)By the way, today I have been mostly watching Without Me and just wanted to say how amazing it is. I love the scale of it - not a grand epic, but a proper look at something they just scooted past in the show - that Lilah *came back from the frickin' dead*. I guess they had a lot to fit in in that ep, but it's a contrast to Buffy, Spike and Angel, where at least there's an ep or two of "you came back from the *dead*?!" It's like you took something that was in that episode, turned the writers' faces toward it and said: look! look what you did! don't you realise this is some pretty amazing stuff that you wrote here?
And Lilah's wicked cool - how did I not see this before?

Date: 2004-06-13 08:46 am (UTC)"Bittersweet Symphony" is one of my all time favorite songs. I keep thinking it is about Wes - but I can see the Lindsey connection now big time. Whoa, yeah - Lindsey.
::has to sit down as vid smacks upside head::
I'm actually having to call a moratorium on Richard Ashcroft -otherwise I would never vid anyone else ("Paradise" and pretty much the entirety of "Human Condition" album is a planned vid). There is an Angel vid to "Bittersweet Symphony" already - I found it at the BMVD (http://www.buffyvids.com/) - it is here: http://the_bronze2.tripod.com/Videos.html
Oh look, there is another: http://www.missjones.vzz.net/vids.html
I haven't watched either. I don't typically watch a lot of online vids unless they are rec'ed by a trusted source or I am feeling masochistic. Now a quick glance at the BMVD also tells me there are a few more vids to Bring Me to Life that I have not yet seen. See - while I detest and hate Evanescence with a passion that cannot be dimmed - I am addicted to the fact that internet vidders cannot seem to stop vidding this song. Right now there are 14 versions listed. 14. And it is not as if these vidders don't know that the song has been done - and done a lot - these are vidders who at least *know* about the BMVD, so they are not in a total vacuum.
Sorry - got off course - my mind just boggled.
