I don't know what you put in your vids, but halfway through this one I realized my heart was pounding a fair bit faster than normal. Just really great balance in this. Both emotionally and visually.

I just wanted you to know that.

I don't have feedback words for vids like I do for fic. I don't know the technical skills required to make those perfect edits so Connor melds seamlessly into Spike, to catch the shadows on Angel's face, or to be able to cut away from one fight and move into the next so that no one but a fan who's seen every episode ten thousand times would know it's not the same fight because everything looks so effortless.

All I know is that I'm broken. This is perfect. I don't know what else to say. Once again you've reduced me to a quivering, crying A/S shipper ball of mush. And you put the pretty baby boy in it too. I..

I had to put the baby boy there - you can't explain Angel without that.

Interestingly enough - I can easily omit Buffy from a vid like this - Buffy as an impetus to Spike becoming souled, because really, if it had not been her, it would have been something else. He was on a path to follow Angel from the get-go. It just might have taken a couple more centuries before he figured it out. But Angel - there is no understanding of who Angel is *now* unless you at least mention Connor.

I was SOOO hoping this would be the song you used. Man, ever since you mentioned this song as a possibility for a vid, I've been hoping you'd get around to it.

So I watched and loved, but I'm confused. I watched it twice now and I can't tell if the jerkiness and pausing is on purpose or if it's my computer.
