Quick Note Before I Go Run Errands...

So when I went to sleep last night - after hours and hours of uninterupted "Donnie Darko" - I was all thinking that Donnie is Jesus and Frank is a creepy, creepy God.

Which is just where I go automatically with *any* story (you should see me make sense of "Event Horizon" - let's just say I could vid it to "Losing My Religion" except I know what that song is really about).

Now - I think my brain is trying to sort out the overwhelming "Sleep Tight" squee I was on yesterday when I got my ats_endofdays assignment, with the sudden invasion of "Donnie Darko" and Donnie *is* Wes. Or Wes *is* Donnie.

And it is making surprising sense.

No matter what sisabet says? There IS no sense to be made of "Event Horizon." You know and I know it. The Shetland pony scenario? Explains so, so much.

Dude. I was watching the other day, and thought the exact same thing.

Except what I actually thought was "Wow, there should totally be a fic where Dead!Donnie meets Dead!Lilah who convinces him to pretend to be Wes for her sick twisted Single White Watcher fantasies."

Which is possibly a sign that I need to step away from the crack.

Okay - well before I even watched DD last night I was thinking about choices and decisions and how what Wes did in "Sleep Tight" totally influenced everything that was to come - you could trace all of it - S4 and S5 - back to that episode (or at least this was the angle I was going to take either in a vid or an essay). And then I saw DD and now I can't get "Head Over Heels" out of my head and I fricking see it with Wes. And Time fluctuating. And it all comes back to Sleep Tight - maybe with red lines connecting clips that fly by (except I don't know how to do that) and I probably need to chill and lay off the Starbucks.
