The auction to benefit Vividcon is still ongoing. I'm in the running now as a bidder - see I have this idea for an Alias vid, but since I don't watch the show and don't really want start, I need someone else to make it happen - otherwise it is a lot of work for me. We should auction off vidders all the time. I have lots of ideas in fandoms I don't participate in.

Have you got the perfect Stargate vid idea? Are you dying for someone to make a QaF vid about Brian to a particular song? Do you think that if only someone would vid Lex Luthor to this song - it might prevent him from going evil?

Check it out - bidding continues thru 4-4-04 but don't wait too long - what if the internet dies before then? What if there is a storm and your power goes out? Where would you be then, huh? Well, you'd be in the same place you were before, I suppose, only vidless. Or not, I guess you could make the vid yourself with the right support and techical assistance - but that is an awful lot of work. And it is really easy to bid.

Also, saussy - y'know - Spike/Xander to "Burning Down the House" just isn't gonna happen by itself... or it might - I don't know. I'm just throwing out ideas now.

That's what I was thinking. Lex is such the bad boy.

I was feeling a bit generous toward Vividcon this morning since I am basically getting my plane ticket for free. ($6 after the credit voucher was applied.)

I just thought I would spend the money somewhere else. And while I like some of the other vidders very much, I couldn't think of a specific vid I wanted any of them to do.

I don't feel like working. Our office is cold. Our engineer is punishing us for being here over spring break so they won't turn on the heat. He is also angry at one of my co-workers for complaining about him because he is such an petty little old woman about everything.

I can see it - in my head. Especially "My parents were always putting him down" part.

Poor Clark - they told him Lex was bad, but he knew that he was sad. Sniff

I wonder if I can work a dog into the vid?

Me either and I have to do X amount of work before I can leave...and I don't wanna.

There really ought to be. Superboy comics had a dog.

I always thought it was weird that Clark didn't have a dog. It makes me wonder if Bo is strange or something because farm kids, they have dogs. Multiple dogs. It is our right - kinda like a trade-off for living out where there are no neighborhood kids to play with - so we get dogs. And I'd rather hang with my dog then other kids so it worked out.

Maybe Martha is allergic?

She must be. A dog would have been even more useful for Clark who never had anyone he could talk to. Then again, maybe they used to have one and Clark kept throwing the stick too hard and Pupple would end up in Nebraska, or something.

OH! They *couldn't* have a dog cause Wee!Clark would be all Of Mice and Men around it. I really hope they did not learn this the hard way....

And now they cannot get teenage Clark a dog, for he must Face His Future Alone and a dog would muck all of that up.

His tale really *is* tragic.

Poor Lex, everytime he loved a puppy - Lionel would take it away. I don't know if this is based on actual canon or if it is just fanon - but I have seen it around a lot. I hate Lionel.
