Killing Time I Don't Have at Work

So here is the deal. I have decided that, in my head, Angel is not cancelled. Basically, I am moving onto denial as a coping strategy.

This is best accomplished by concentrating really really intently on "The Invisible Man" - another show that is not cancelled in my head. My head has the best programming, ever. Seriously, Firefly? Getting ready for its third season in my head. Curiously enough, The X-Files stops at season 6 there.

Speaking of TXF - Squeeee!!! tzikeh has generously loaned me her DVDs so that I may vid. Today is the first day of my Marathon-Main-Lining-Mulder-Pain Event! It is all Mulder, all pain, all the time, at my house tonight.

Speaking of pain - and aren't I flush with segues today? - I can't raise my arms above my head or walk down steps right now. I thought it would be a good idea to attend 5am Body Pump with Dawn today. For those that have been spared, Body Pump is aerobics with weights. Get it? Body Pump - see? The first half was particularly hellacious due to the music - then a gospel dance number played and it might be a vid and right after that "Black Suits Coming" played and I thought about imation's Angel vid and I got all happy and then the instructor saw me smiling and made me add more weight to my bar.

Loving Angel sometimes leads to pain.

I still don't know why I got up and went with Dawn to the gym this morning. I suppose it was a bit because Bobby and Darien are all compact, tightly muscled sinewy men and I find that inspiring. Since, I often watch tightly muscled, sinewy men do a variety of activities without it leading to the gym, I somehow doubt it is the cause. The most likely suspect is tzikeh's pimpage of "The West Wing" and my seizing upon CJ as an appropriate role-model. I need a new role-model since the Scully thing kinda fell through. CJ is competant, extremely intelligent, intimidating, fast thinking and kinda scary. I'd like to be like that. CJ also appears (from what I have seen) to fall down or walk into things a lot. I can so do that. In fact, I am doing that right now. I am almost CJ. Coolness.

My I-Man Season 1 DVDs shipped today. I am still in pain, but it is a happy region 2 figuring hack kinda pain. Now I just have to scheme up season 2. Good thing I have a plan.

Yeah - Voodoo is taken from both seasons and there is tons of angst. And pain. Oh, and spiders, although I really could have done without that. Also - Bobby picks Darien up and carries him! *points to icon*

The first time I saw that icon, I must admit, I didn't recognize them, and thought Darien's hair was some sort of weird hairpiece on Bobby. :-> It still kinda looks like that if you squint right. :->

Yes - the icon is mainly for me - I need reminding and centering on the best thing eva. Well, besides puppet Angel taking off his nose - or walking. This pain-scene is the next best thing to all of Puppet Angel.

Pain is terrific - but these guys are all cute as well and sweet and noble and then sometimes Darien goes evil and turns into Season 4 Angelus. But there is still love. Terrible fashion sense, white socks galore and Darien has enough hair for the entire cast, so Bobby's baldness is actually a relief - but the love! Ahhhh...

My vid played twice?? And people saw it?? Wheeee!!!!

20 gig, currently with 3 gig to spare. And really, it's more than the file size; it's that it would clog up the network for something like two days, and my housemate needs that for work purposes.

It's okay. I have tapes. I was mostly posting to alert others. :)

Well - it is available in region 2 - which means (if you are NTSC-based) that you are gonna have to either hack your DVD player...unless you have a multi-region player in which case then you could just, um, play it.

I think I can easily hack the DVD player on my computer and make it multi-region if it is not already - then I'll have to figure out how to convert the PAL stuff into something usable for me if I want to vid the show since I rip source directly on the computer. I get really intent when I think about this and focused. I am a woman on a mission.

Season 2 is not out and it doesn't look like it will be released. At least not soon. I am concentrating on using my mental powers to change that. Since my mental powers don't tend to usually work at influencing studio decisions, I am also scheming to get season 2 on SVCD TV-rips. So far I haven't found any, so my scheming mainly consists of me rubbing my hands together and squinting maniacally at the computer screen. Tonight, I add a Muaaahahahaha just for authenticity's sake. I do have a lead on an encoder group that may or may not have ripped season 2. Possibly. No one is really saying for sure. God, I hope so.

I was worried about you last week. There was Angel, and there were Muppets, and then there was Muppet Angel, and yet there was no sisabet on my reading list. I worried that you had been in a tragic accident and Dawn was too distraught to notify strangers on the Internet. I worried that you had seen the episode and expired of joy, possibly with a scary Joker rictus on your face.

I had completely forgotten about the mini viddercon. I am so relieved.

Oh - I saw puppet Angel. I may well have died of pure unmitigated joy (or at the very least, lost my soul) but for the calming and wonderful influence of my friends along with judicious applications of Eddie Izzard. Also - Bobby Hobbes.

Luckily, it does not appear that the puppet craze has died down at all. Where can I get the puppet mood theme?
