Apparently I am not the only person who suffers from performance anxiety at the eye doctor's. It seems most of this stems from the fact that I really have no idea why the optometrist is doing what it is that she does. It seems very mysterious and arbitrary and of course I am sweating about giving the wrong answer - I don't understand what it is they are looking for, so how can I make an informed choice?
qafhappy then sweeps in and makes it all better in the comments of my last post. She explains things and really, it is just fascinating.

I feel much better about the whole deal.
I now wish I had made certain I had a Clark-In-Glasses icon cause this would be the perfect post for it. That was my big disappointment last week, you know. No glasses. They give and then they take. Why can't we have kryptonite retinal damage every week??
