I am offline at work today. I'm still technically on lunch break so this does not count. I console myself with the knowledge that any updates to Squicky or Reaper Boy will still be here tonight. Right?

Why am I offline? I have to get caught up at work - like fantastically caught up, for I want to vid this weekend. I need to vid. I need to vid with no interuptions and I need to vid with a clear head.

Also, tzikeh is insane, but we all knew this already. Luckily, she is insane in that good way.

I just got back from my little record store and when I left I was so giddy that I forgot to run into the Subway next to it for my lunch. So I'm eating Cup o'Soup now. It is a fair trade-off cause my little dude had the Pulp CD I wanted (used!!) and he is ordering the Placebo CD that he didn't have (will be in tomorrow!) and then he gave me a discount on Johnny Cash's Love God Murder box set and then he told me he can get me $20 off the Unearthed box set that comes out Tuesday. I am flush with music. I am music rich. I am vid idea rich. I even have source! Well, some source. I have Angel source and right now that is all that matters.

So then I have to get my ideas and potential vids all lined up:
Last Stand - that will be finished.

There is the project with Lum that will cause our heads and potentially our computers to explode. I think we've got what we need - we just have to figure out how to do what we have to do. That is not even an obstacle, we'll figure it out. So yay!

I am stoked about the Spike as Robin idea I have - I have no freaking idea how it will work but I know what I want to do, the source is merely incidental now - it will come. I will learn photoshop, and maybe I can do it all before Vividcon 2004? Yay!

I want to do another S/A vid but I can't decide on what to focus on - I could do Alice In Chains Would but that is almost too easy - or I could do Lucinda Williams Atonement (saussy - what do you think?) which would reallly allow me to focus on the damnation theme and religious icons and Angel in church and that really appeals to me. But the song, while interesting, may be too unchanging for a vid. It is at 5:50 now, but I could easily edit it down to around 3 minutes. I don't know if the song ever climaxes though (although at 4:00 somethin' happens), but that may not be important considering the vid's themes. Would - that would be easier and possibly more intimate emotionally between S/A - and the religious overtones could still come into play...Hell, I could just do both - Spike and Angel are on the same show now! Along with He/She Who Is Still A Spoiler for those overseas!!!

Which one? I've only been able to find the newest one, and haven't heard any of their earlier work. Got hooked on them in Velvet Goldmine, and went looking for their music. I don't think any of the radio stations here play their stuff. However, I'm going to their concert tomorrow night!~

I know you'll prob laugh at this suggestion but what about a haunting cletic instrumental for the S/A semi religious tone of a vid. You could use the beats of the song to convey your feelings without lyrics.

Hi! This is OT from your entry, but I just wanted to stop by and tell you that I absolutely *love* your vids, and especially "66"! I downloaded it a while back, and never properly told you how much I enjoyed it. The whole darn thing just makes me smile. Love it! :-D

Hope you don't mind me popping by your journal--just joined LJ last month, and I'm still finding my way around. Came across a rec to your vids, and I'm really glad I had a look! :)
