Keeping the Economy Going: One Vending Machine at a Time

They switched vending machines in my office. Better candy, but higher prices.

Here is the problem. I can actually feel the dent the (5-cent on Coke and the 10-cent on candy) price raise has made in my available fundage. This is sad.

What is not sad is now we have Reese's Pieces! Whoo-Hoo. And I can eat them as they are meant to be eaten: mixed with plain M&Ms. Now - you do have to make certain the M&M's logo side is facing down (otherwise it is cheating), but then every bite is an adventure! Will it be chocolate? Will it be peanut butter? I don't know!! Heee!

Wow - two peanut butters in a row! Chocolate you better catch up or I'll end up with uneven numbers and I hate uneven numbers.

Um, sorry for the spam. Perhaps I should not be allowed near the sugar?

This is so incredibly sad. Sad. Sad. Sad. Did I mention how sad it is? And? I have a bite-size Butterfinger here on my desk that I'm going to eat now, simply because it's so sad.

I found Smarties earlier! Smarties, Mountain Dew & lj got me through this afternoon at work. Ohhh, & that a bite-size snickers.

overall--I'll take salty snacks to sweet snacks- But I love the sugar rush of smarties. There is a candy bowl in the receptionist area of the small office here- & I'll raid for the smarties every morning & hord them for throughout the day. :-0

I feel you on the need for balance in your chocolate/peanut butter intake. Do you make pyramids of them too, by color? And eat from the bottom up? Er, that just sounded really odd and OCD, didn't it. Well, you ranted about uneven numbers. It's fair.

Oh - I actually arranged the colors into rows. I didn't want to get to much into that since I already remarked on turning all of the M&Ms logo side down.

You know what they have, now, though.

Peanut-butter M&Ms. They're all bigger than normal, because they have to have room for both the chocolate and the peanut butter.
