This vid was mainly an excuse to play with a key scene in 2x19 - please do not watch this until after you have seen 2x19. You should probably also avoid watching until you have seen 2x20. Yes - wait until you are done with season 2. There is a lot of season 3 in this vid - up to episode 3x07 - so if you want to be a purist, then wait until then. However - the season 3 stuff really won't spoil you plotwise - especially considering that you've watched "66." Proceed at your own pace, but the recommendation is : don't watch at all until you are post 2x19, wait if possible until after 2x20, and clips used are up to 3x07.

Like I heard it and thought of Brian and then listened to it some more and decided it was very Brian appropriate (especially the repeating/warring lyrics at the end and then the last little repeating lyric that you just can't make out and that made me think of Brian - his conflict and hurt about Justin and the little under-current underneath it all that he just ignores and pushes away. He is so deliciously fucked up). And then this weekend I was the helpless victim of a vid-bashing.
Oh - last night I was thinking about Prison!Justin fic when I couldn't fall asleep (as I am won't to do) and I just wanted to let you know this: You know we are going to want gap-fillers when all is said and done - right? Like the year between this fic and M&L? I'm just warning you - there will be a fan-based cry for gapfillers. Mine will be for Justin's 20th B-day, but I'm sure I will want more to. See how grateful we are - always with the more! more! more! It's almost like you are Joss Whedon or something.

That is so cool that you think about Prison!Justin when you can't sleep. Hee. And actually, the prison story is sort of going to be a backdrop to telling the story of the year after M&L. There's gonna be a lot of flashbacks, and Justin's going to write letters to Brian that will be rambling reminiscences (is that even a word?) of the past year, so hopefully a lot of the gappiness will be filled in. Probably won't get any more detail on the 20th birthday, but there are many other little stories that will be told in more detail. Like the bracelet thing, and stuff like their first ad campaign and their first horrible, work-related fight, and the time Justin broke up with Brian for a day and a half, and, of course, the freaking puppy. Laura's already started on the freaking puppy story. I still can't believe we're giving him a freaking puppy. Kill me now.

Seriously, I am so impressed. The interplay among the images was gorgeous. The impression of Brian's thoughts was so vivid, you could almost hear it. And there was no need for me to try to think about how the lyrics fit the scene. It was like a puzzle. They just clicked together. Beautiful vid. *tears up*
