sisabetAt 4:22pm today, I officially fell in love with my current Vid-In-Progress - which has been a vid in progress for much longer than I want to even think about, but hang on. A quick check of past posts lets me know that I was working on this vid...shit, December 15, 2007. Actually, I think I started it in November.
4-5 months is a very long time to look at something without love. I mean, I had the like. I had the like coming out the wazoo. It is a very pleasant vid - even if I was calling it the "John and Rodney Stand Around and Look At Things and Sometimes Stand In the Vicinity of Each Other" vid just last week.
But I am over the hump! The draft is almost complete! It *will* be finished because I adore it too much to not finish it! Vid Farr! I haven't left the house in 24 hours, I went 12 hours without eating and would have forgotten to stand except for bathroom breaks. I thwarted almost certain blood clots today only by virtue of having a small bladder! YAY!
My hair is uncombed and stringy (and also brown now - I went a bit nuts this weekend with the dye). My face feels icky. I am still in my pajamas from last night. I drank coffee that was icky cold today because it was in front of me, I didn't want to get up, I was thirsty and I didn't mind.
I had a sandwich in the fridge, already prepared and ready to go, waiting for me to eat at lunch today. I skipped it (Cappy ate it when she got home from work, or school, or wherever it is she goes on whatever day this is) because I didn't want to tie up my hands with eating.
Tomorrow I go back to work. I am still unable to sleep at 4am (this is actually not new - the insomnia is back and it is really bad, lately, unless I resort to meds) and today I was supposed to do laundry. I just remembered this. Vidding: The time-sink to end all time-sinks.
God, I've missed this.
Also? John is totally full of shit. Rodney never sees it coming. That is all.
