You know, he has a point. Gordon, I mean.  Dude, if you know the identity of the real motherfucking anti-christ, shouldn't you do something about it? Of course, I am coming from a standpoint of belonging to a religion that believes the anti-christ is real, so perhaps I am prejudiced.  I'm also like permanantly damned if the anti-christ IS Sam Winchester because... SAM!

I am torn. I also like Gordon and while I think his methods are dodgey at best, I don't necessarily think he is morally superior at *all* to Dean. I don't think I am actually supposed to think that, anymore. Sure, after "Hunted" they set Gordon up as the Too-Gung-Ho hunter, going after monsters who weren't necessarily monstrous and who *killed* his poor sister after she was vamped and the contrast with Dean was that Dean, while also being scarily gung-ho, was willing to see (eventually) another side (of course only if Sam was in jeopardy and even then it was a struggle). Tonight? They went back to even-stevens - Gordon and Dean - when Dean killed Harmony.  Heck, just the decision to put down poor Madison last year did it for me, but I guess they wanted to make it really explicit, so Harmony/Lucy got the ax. Well...machete.

Poor Gordon. What happened to him was just awful.  I was gonna bright-side this and be all "Well, but he was reaaaalllly hot" but once he killed his crazy-religious-hunter-sidekick (I *liked* him! He was interesting. Awwww), even I stopped being shallow about the situation. Poor Gordon. I'm kinda sick about it. Damn that was good acting, though. The regretful embrace combined with just the slightest of creepy-ass sniffing. Chills, man.

I almost don't want to watch the rest of the show, now. Damn, Gordon.

Gordon's choices are absolutely justifiable, and that's what makes him such a great character. If you think there's a chance someone could destroy the world, "better safe than sorry" is not an irrational position. And really, I think I'd always rather have a villain who's the hero of his own story than one who's just mustache-twirling, you know?

Aw dude, Gordon knocked this fucking ep out of the PARK, yo! He broke me almost as much as the boys did, and that's SAYING something. When he killed Psycho Jesus Freak Guy, leaned his head in affectionately and said he was sorry? I BELIEVED HIM BECAUSE OMG SO SELLING IT!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they are making the monsters so human and gray this season. They just KEEP going there, and I'll eat it up with a SPOON, because that's what makes things really interesting.

Gordon = awesome character. I'm satisfied with the ending he got, too, even though it means no more of him as an foil - and really, that's kind of okay because I couldn't see them going much further with that plot. Of course, it helps that Sterling K. Brown is... mesmerizing. Especially when he's being uber-intense hunter guy... oh wait, that's always. ;)
