sisabetSupernatural has broken my brain. Not that I am actually doing anything *actively* right now. In fact, end-of-the-season-angst has me kinda avoiding any and all meta/fic/whatnot, because I just can't deal. I am already in mourning for the end of the season.

How the hell did I use to survive active fandoms? I seriously do not remember. I just... like, okay - so I watched S1 in one big fell swoop, and I know how that ended and thank GOD I actually had "In My Time of Dying" on my computer so I could watch it immediately afterward.
I live in fear of another "Die Me Dichotomy." Just so you know.
So, in my defense - I'm burying myself in DCU slash. Specifically, Tim/Kon because awwwwwww. Lookit! They are so cute and sweet and BOYS! And yet...
Oh, by the way -- Spoil me for Supernatural and I will... dude - I will rain FIRE DOWN ON YOUR VILLAGE. Or, I'll just be really peeved. So no spoilers for that, but feel free to spoil me for anything DCU or Smallville related and yes - I do know *that* SV spoiler. The one I should know.

I was explaining to Lum how I've found my happy, head-in-the-sand place (No SUPERNATURAL! DO. NOT. BREAK. MY. HEART!) by just wallowing in the sweet, sweet, adorably fucked-up Superboy/Robin place except -- well, the stories generally do the entire slash set-up. especially for first time fic where there is banter, banter, followed by possible adventure than followed up by angst angst angst and then shoving up against wall (telekinesis force field, batcave, roof of Titans HQ) hawt sex, angst, banter, then PURE TRUE LOVE and prickley cuddles. THE END.
And then, in my head, I have to add "And then Kon dies." Which makes me really sad. But not in a "OMG SAMMY DON'T DIE WAY!" because Kon was killed by DC and that just don't count. Ask anyone - DC-Death doesn't count although legal battles do, so if Kon ever does come back it won't be as Superboy (good for him) but he'll probably be evil.
Which, you know - is not actually a problem for me. I mean, I like wincest. I accidentally read Bruce/Kon and it was the hottest thing I've read in ever and melted my eyeballs, so yeah. There is a big wide world of kinks and I'll just start owning them all, anytime now.
