Whining and then Talk of SGA 2x15

So, this is not chalking up as a very good day. I overslept and woke up in a panic, but (THANK GOD) f1renze registered me for VVC when I didn't answer my phone. Then I look outside cause I am supposed to drive to Mom's for my birthday dinner and it is snowing. Hard.

My landlord showed up for the rent and raised it and I really don't think he was supposed to do it. I think I am still on lease - I mean, he sent a letter saying it was going up and then I talked to him a few months ago and he said my lease was still active and now he says no. And I'd go find my lease and deal with this except there is a ton of stuff I am not dealing with and this is just one of them. And I don't think I am fired but I could easily be laid off and very soon because when the Big Companies start laying off people in understaffed field offices, that is NOT a very positive sign. Maybe. And maybe that would be a good thing cause you get unemployment with that, right? Except I need health insurance right now and I am not getting a bonus or a raise this year because NO ONE in my industry is getting a raise or a bonus this year except for the big dudes who get up there and talk and lie and say shit like it is important for you to find a balance between work and home and what they really mean is "The balance is that you are always working." Jerks.

And then other stuff happened and I am just staying home today. The only food I have in the house is raisins and ramen but I do not care. I'd order pizza but that is too much money and I had my first cup of coffee in a week and so that was good and I am totally not panicking except I had a frigging nightmare about Slayage last night so maybe I need to chill?

So - let us talk about something good. Let's talk about SGA and last night's ep (The Tower) and Rodney and OMG!!!

Rodney was in a cave in!!! That was totally a cave-in with the crumbling walls and the threat of collapse and worry over oxygen and I am very happy. Also John is a consistent slut and Ronon and Rodney held hands and John got scanned by what I thought was the bald dude's 3rd gen iPod but what was actually his Palm Zire (the otterbox threw me). And Rodney was very action oriented and appropriately Rodney. OH! And Ronon killed people and Teyla got down with the people and both of these things (Deadly!Ronon and Insurgent!Teyla) were really quite hot. And did Rodney say his little guide dude was named Baldrick?? Did he have a cunning plan? (Really, actually - that would be fantastic. Rodney should have a Baldrick - we could call him John).

So now I am gonna go watch the rest of this season and maybe vid or something and not worry about anything cause it is my almost birthday dammit! And I have raisins.
